The little Imp's still creep me out. I really loved this game. Don't know why I bought it as I had only just bought a PS1 and this was the only game I ever bought for it. So I had Medieval & Crash Bandicoot. I was 16 and was too distracted by girls to waste my time on video games. I had things to do with my fingers other than pushing controller buttons lol
Dune 2000 was the game that got me into video gaming, and will always hold a special place in my heart. But the Oddworld games played a major part in shaping my childhood, and I've adored and laughed at each game many times over the years. Completing each one was extremely meaningful and important to me, although when I got Munch's Odyssee's bad ending the first time I tried to complete the game, my younger self was traumatised for weeks lol. I just got Abe's handscars done as tattoos on the back of my hands today, and his chest tattoo, too. Needless to say, diehard fan!
Bullfrog meant something in the 90s as a Brit. There was a sense of national pride that one of the worlds most beloved game developers was a British studio. My dad was a superfan and bought the original Dungeon Keeper and Theme Hospital on his Windows 95 machine. Timeless games.
Wait oh my god i had no idea that there was a strangers wrath HD on modern consoles that game was like a big part of my childhood i gotta buy that on PS5 now lol
Found your channel today through this video, just finished it and man, you did a brilliant job. I plan on watching the rest of your documentaries! I'm curious though, do you think you'll do a Jak & Daxter documentary? If you're into Jak, that is. I assume you're into Jak going by the documentaries you've done so far but my bad if I'm wrong. I would also love to see a Psychonauts documentary, if you're into Psychonauts. I look forward to seeing more from you!
The premise for 'Medievil 3: Fate's Arrow' sounds bloody brilliant, what a shame that it never came to light. Toys For Bob, we need you to do this for us PLEASE.
You've done a marvelous job with this production. You also cared enough to provide exquisite captioning. I'm borderline hard of hearing plus I love to have the full context of what I'm watching so to say that this was appreciated is a huge understatement. I won't hesitate to say that you've inspired me. Thank you.
Abe's Oddysee had a strong impact on me as a kid. In the beginning of my journey I spent a lot of time playing Prince of Persia on the Genesis. Once my family got a PlayStation and I watched my parents play Abe's Oddysee I was blown away. Its such a captivating world artistically, and even nowadays it's my all time favorite game. I played it so much I went through 2 discs, now I have 2 copies with one as a backup lol. Thank you Lorne Lanning, Sherry Mckenna and everyone on the Oddworld Inhabitants team fot making my childhood so fun.
one thing you shouldn't do if you're trying to create a healthy work environment is confiscate people's food that they bring in themselves. I get she was well intentioned, but that's just mean and overbearing. She's not their mom.
This is fantastic thank you. I was born in 95 and some of my earliest memories were my dad playing Abes Oddyssey and teaching me how. I still replay it every few years.
If only they made a third game instead of a whole reboot ( being resurrection just not to be confused ) allow me to tell how it should’ve gone: the game starts telling the story of the second game and how the past altered Daniel fought and defeated the Palethorn beast cutting the stomach to release Kia and she noticed a light it was the Anubis stone she then pulled a strange looking amulet she put the Anubis stone in it and she went to the Time Machine and vanished after that Lupo was first seen playing with Daniel’s head and as soon as that happens Kia or Kiot appeared this time younger and not as a mummy and along with her was Zarok young as the girl and they took quick work of Daniel and the dog sending them into the era of dinosaurs then Al Zalam telling the two of the bad news of how Zarok and Kiot ruled all of time thanks to the god stone ( I decided to make it the god stone to give it more power to rule time and space a little twist that I like ) after that Daniel sighed with Lupo looking confused then Daniel pulled out his head and threw it so Lupo would catch it after a few raptors, triceratops, pterodactyls Kiot’s soldiers looking for Zalam because he stole something of Kiot like breaking the god stone into four pieces scattered in time they met the first boss of the game Zarok taming a mess of a dinosaur ( reference to the tyrannosaurus wrecks which this one is from the past ) after the trio defeat it drowning him in tar they go on an adventure in time with one gargoyle head, the professor, Winston and the heroes from the hall of heroes all band up together and fight the couple of evil. 😮💨that was a lot
Partially, the mess of huge scale assaults in dk1 was its charm. A true demonstration that you are not a tactician genius, but a leader of a devilish horde, and you might control them individually, or in small groups... but it all turns to a uncontrolled violent mess of blood, screams, farts, and warcries 😂
Countless hours spent exploring and experimenting with levels in the OG games ❤ but honestly who else didn’t giggle at the “oops” of a miscommunication to a mud throwing themselves off ledges… 😂
Daily reminder that if you played and enjoy Abe’s oddyssey and also eat meat you are incredibly dense and missed the entire point of the series. Supporting the demonic meat industry has a price and it is your soul.
