Current and, in some fortunate cases, former homeless cats. May they all be happy and healthy and free from harm, in spite of the situation in which these wonderful super-frens have found themselves.
Each cat or community has its own playlist, and some of the individual cats, especially Tux for example, have stories containing as much information as I know about them.
I am not by nature a blesser, but... Bless All of these Wonderful creatures.
Some 35 years ago our first cat was completely black like your baby and he would get under the water to drink it. Have your vet check and watch him for diabetes. Our vet way back then said his willing to get in the sink or tub drinking was because he developed diabetes. I had to check our cat each day and give him insulin shots to keep his diabetes in check. He is a beautiful cat. Shalom
At least the birds aren’t screaming at the cat like the ones in my carport. They see the cat through the door and yell at it. They even yell at me! SMH!
I have a nickname for birds -- "cat toys". Maybe a bit cruel, but then again, they do poop all over the balcony. But I guess that that's what they do. As long as they're entertainment for Tux, I shouldn't complain.
No, the plastic sheet is there for him to play with, which he LOVES. There's no risk because it's one big, flat sheet -- it's not a bag, so there's no way to get stuck inside.
Tux wants to be stepped on 24-hours a day, if that means that he gets to eat every time. He doesn't realize that if he trips me and I fall over and crack my head open, then there will be no one to operate all of the food-containment devices.
I understand. I lost both my brother and sister cat best friends of almost 17 years between last fall and this spring. I miss them terribly every single day. I know how difficult it is and wish that I had some helpful advice for you, but I don't. I'm sure that he was worthy of all your loving thoughts.
