Welcome to the Danny Ben S channel on RU-vid. There are many kinds of videos on here, most of them having to do with gaming. From Review shows to Let's Plays to other kinds of videos, you'll find many videos to watch on here. Whether they are good or not in your opinion is entirely up to you. Don't be afraid to let me know in the comments what you think of my videos (just try to keep it civil, please).
Parents who may watch this channel, this channel has all sorts of videos that are not appropriate for kids. Not every video is "inappropriate", but this channel is generally recommended for teens to adults. I have a "Recommended Ages" section in the description of my older videos. But as of March 4th, 2021, my videos no longer have that section. If you let you children watch my videos, please be with them while they watch to see if you think it's appropriate for your kids or not.
I haven't played much of Crash vs Spyro....but from what I've seen you play I actually think I'd enjoy crash bandicoot rather than the winner in this video Spyro. I surprised myself!
My problem with purism is how it pushes content and excited newcomers away from communities. Specifically with remakes. People are so content on being pessimistic wussies and complain about how a good attempt at modernization isn’t the same as the original game which came out in the 90’s, has awful controls and compressed earraping sounds. It’s such a bad faith argument
It's funny, I like the long levels and the padding in a way. I guess I loved Rayman 2 that much as a kid that I just wanted more of the same, so Revolution was the perfect 'remake' for me. People hate the hub worlds, but I feel more immersed in Rayman's world because of them, and they provide smoother and logical transitions between levels. For example, Bzzit ferries you from the beach on the first hub world to the Sanctuary of Water and Ice. Objectively though, the hub worlds unnecessarily make you walk to and from levels and the super long levels themselves, such as the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, need trimming. I think combat is the main thing that needs fixing though. Rayman 2 has its moments, like with the ninja henchman, but I've always thought the i-frames were a lazy solution. I think Revolution, again, was a step in the right direction with the addition of the flamethrower and homing missile pirates, not to mention the zombie pirates. But ultimately just having something like Rayman 3's combat system and perhaps a few enemies at a time rather than just drip-feeding us a pirate here and there would suffice. Anyway, I've rambled on much too long cos I love R2 so much lol. I just hope Rayman 2 HD or one of these other fan projects come to fruition, as I'm not holding out for Ubisoft to do a remake.
Based af. Ryemanni (creator of Rayman Redemption) agrees that the PS1 (and PS2) version is best. I've never felt so vindicated after hearing your and his opinion Not sure what's with all the uncharitable counter-opinions. Thought we grew up and left behind those kinds of immature comments in the early 2010s Shame you didn't mention the voice acting for the bosses, because I consider that huge in terms of the world-building, even if it is just a few lines. Unless you're paying close attention to what the Teensies are saying, namely that each of the masks has a guardian (or played the PS1 version first), you'll show up at Axel and be like "Who's this guy? Oh, I guess we fight now. Oh, here's the first mask."
"Not really any reason to get this game today". Whoops, as a collector, I bought both cartridges not too long ago, the more Pac-Man in my collection, the merrier.
Update (from 3/30/24): My friend was able to fix the problem. Turns out the hard drive I had my games on went bad, so we moved them to another hard drive of mine in my computer. This doesn't change my mind about computers having more problems than consoles, but at least the problem is solved.
I adore Tails's Act 2 victory spin-fail at 14:20, for he's so ecstatic during his pop-off, that he then becomes so distraught upon realizing he somehow slipped during the spin & fell onto the ground for no apparent reason. Him impressively immediately regaining enough composure, after the embarrassingly unexpected butt-first landing, to pump his fist, while appearing practically unfazed by the sudden fall, just moments ago, aside from a potential tinge of confusion over how exactly he wound up sitting on the floor (Why doesn't he get up? Why does he stay seated, going into the fade-to-black?), is admirably awe-inspiring.
This release date is unfortunate. Ultimate Carnage was patched like 2 days ago. Adding Steam Cloud support, removing Games for Windows (and sadly all online multiplayer with it) and Steam Deck Verified badge. And yes, the og Ultimate Carnage on PC always supported controllers, at least Xbox (360 and Xbone). Fun fact, you can press A and B on keyboard in the menus and it acts like A and B on a controller.
