I LOVE THIS! Now I'm off to my scrap pile and the snack cabinet for supplies! I love this! I can eat the chips while I'm sewing! ❤What a GREAT idea! Thank you!
I love this pattern! Any chance you sell a hand sanitizer holder pattern? I would love to make one of those and can't find a similar pattern. Thanks either way.
Your DreamBox looks so good, Kate! We love how you organized all your material and sewing supplies in your totes. This definitely helps others get inspired about where to organize their notions and where machines might go 💛
Would it be ok to use the chip bag if I wanted to sell the cat fish toys? Like would I have to disclose that I'm using chip bag material in my description? Thanks in advance xx
If you leave the turning opening on one the side of the pointed section of the owl, you can easily stuff the entire body as full as you like and retain the rounded shape. Then you can close the seam at the same time as sewing down the "eyebrows". Not a big deal, but it just saves one step.
New to sewing so appreciate the feedback. Since you cut 2 for the dispenser side, it appears at that side of the bag is lined in the interior whereas the zipper side is not? Just trying to understand. Thanks.
Yes that's right! Because of the way we constructed the opening for the bags to come out of it is lined. Since you won't see the other/zipper side except for refilling the bag it doesn't need to be lined, but you certainly can line it if you want to! Welcome to sewing!
@seekatesew Thanks for clarifying. I have yet to make this successfully despite several attempts because I keep making a mistake along the way, but I'll get there. Thanks for your help!
This is perfect for a beginner. I am a beginner at sewing and I got this done in a little over an hour. It turned out so cute. I am going to make one for my mom. Thank you 😊
I use a lot of Riley Blake fabrics - I think most in this video are Riley Blake. Most independent fabric stores sell it. I also have a blog post with some favorite online retailers here: seekatesew.com/guide-to-fabric-shopping-online/
I sure as hell wouldnt PUBLISH me not knowing how to work something I made during a tutorial. And from other comments, looks like they managed to mess up during the actual tutorial as well. @@indygirl0104
