He was only 10 years old when he was put on a horse and sent to fight in a war, where he was a lone survivor! And the story continues to get better. I’m African American…However,I now tell them that my Ancestry traces back to the Fula people in Guinea Bissau … that is my maternal line. The result seems accurate. It is based on samples taken from different countries and continents. Nigeria has a large Fulani population, but it wasn't mentioned. Nigeria is more than half the population of West Africa. Guinea, Mali, and Senegal border with each other. As time goes on, those numbers will change as they get more data in their database. They reason Guinea is low is because they probably have few genetic samples from Guinea, which is a small country in population. Some of the percentages from Togo etc.., are samples of Fulani in those places who may have migrated from the Futa parts of West Africa.
Just so you know that with the DNA results they include the Fulani as an African population so they don't actually distinguish their North African the same with East African spear this is why there's Neanderthal DNA with them. And they had North African ancestry but it doesn't go back that far. Because it's reference panel includes these people. So when you put your results on gedmatch it kind of shows the true definition. Also my heritage is alright too for fulanis. Obviously for East Africa's still best for them to choose gedmatch in that case
Most people north Nigeria are Hausa not Fulani ,some are Fulani and also because Fulani originated from Senegal Gambia and are found a lot in countries like Guinea ,mali ,Senegal Gambia Mauritanian etc.
@@omzy8700 The Hausas of Nigeria are very mixed with the Fulani but they have to identify themselves as Hausas because they are predominant in population and culture.

You are definitely a Futa (Senegalese Fulani) it makes no different because Fulani is one Africans largest tribes and we have many of them Sudan to. You how I know because you look the same as nomad girl who made skip school like no one else. Each year a lot of Fulani people used to migrate to place near El-Obeid in North Kordofan looking for pasture and running away from insects. Anyway I met this Fulani girl after school carrying a jar of water on her head. We spoke a little and from that day on we where seeing each other every single day. Every time she she says tomorrow when the sun is at this or that angle we meet under that or this baobab tree. She never stood me up and was always on time. The last day before their departure she left me wooden heart and I never so again. It's been 37 years now and still remember her as if it was yesterday. I could never forget her natural smell mixed with some Fulani herbs. You know I said you are Futa because she was a Futa to and you and are definitely relative because you are younger version of her.
The Fulani are originally (at least in part) from Senegal, so it would make sense that you have Senegalese ancestry!!! Also, check your results to see if they updated it since this video!!!
Fulanis are from one of the companion of Prophet Muhammad by the name Uqbata bin NAAFI, and the grand mother was a princess of a Roman king..., I am a Fulani 100%
