I have spent hundred of hours playing this game, recently I acquired a PS2 FAT console and I am currently looking for this game, when I was a kid never had a PS2 memory card and could not save the game, the most closes I been from finishing was when you have to collect the moon stones but never could, I got it in Gamecube a few years ago and was worth it the adventure, really love this game!
I'll never be able to stomach how much of a snail you are in this game compared to the first. Instead of going close to a consistent 200 MPH like in the first you're barely getting to 170 majority of the time. The gravity ability is cool but the lack of a boost is maddening.

For those curious, the boss is SUPPOSED to be rhythm-based, with Ruby's attacks going to the beat. However, the HD version desyncs the music and attacks for some reason.
