Instead of twine, can I use a ribbon to wrap the stems? I understand the twine is used so the pin has something to grip onto when pinning the boutonniere on a lapel. Also how long should my pin be or does this depend on the length of the piece? I've ordered 7cm pins. Would this do for a piece of similar size like the one in the video?
I just found you channel today and want to thank you for this video. I've recently been diagnosed as a person with ASD and am now at home with a autistic burnout questioning who I am. This video is an inspiration and, even though it is 6 years old, it came to me at just the right moment. I will try to be brave, to keep going and I will find my own voice.

The white is baby's breath, dried. And the green is a faux leafy one I picked out at the craft store that I'm not sure they still have but you can find something similar. I hope that helps!

Aw, thank you for the kind words! The tissue paper I bought from Amazon. Everything else was a combination of trial and error from different suppliers. But this is such a good topic for a video, so I'll save it for that! Thank you for asking and Happy New Year! 🥰
