Yes, although the studies are small, due to lack of funding. The mainstream psychiatric community is very resistant to neurofeedback, bizarrely so, considering that NFB is 60 years old and painstakingly developed. My NFB practitioner went to the big hospital in my area and talked to the doctors for two hours - and they weren't interested. They spent a huge amount of money on a transcranial magnetic stimulation machine instead - a technology that is far more expensive, far less accessible and has a much lower success rate.
The place of the dip is not clear. Doesn’t look the same on Sonia as the man but we can’t see her ear. Some understanding of the skull might help. Otherwise very good instructions thank you
Hi, I was wondering why Neuroptimal is so expensive.. Has it been tested by medical experts? I have tried it and I know it works but I still have questions on proof or evidence performed by independent authority or reasons that would justify its high cost. It's great to hear some testimonials from professionals though like yourself.
Though this question is a year old, I hope I can help provide some insight. This tool is an FDA regulated wellness device. It does not have the clinical/medical attachment for political and liability reasons (assumption based on understanding of medical grade neurofeedback). In addition, the system utilizes a method that is different than the standard systems which does differentiate the technology. Ultimately, it is so expensive because of the supply and demand associated with the product; integrating the software and hardware in the way Neuroptimal does creates a unique market space. This proprietary aspect provides the company with the ability to market the product at a higher price and it also helps offset the research costs that have gone into the development of the system. Though the consumer will often disagree with the price election many companies make when they supply a proprietary technology, it is in the interest of creating a foothold and growing the company (long-term sustainability). As other options become available, price competition will begin, but until that time, they have the power to charge this much because people will pay it.
Awesome!! I love Nero-optimal!!! Just started 3 sessions so far. I cancelled most of my float sessions for two several days a week!!! I am feeling really good. Working on my high stress, ADHD, and relaxing. Calming.
"Social psychology is the scientific study of how people's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by the actual, imagined, or implied presence of others." W O W! I never heard of that subject. I feel stunned. That subject matter seems to be about 75% of my life and I never heard the term. OMG. Oh by the way Jean, your video is spectacularly fine. Well done.
Jean this is an excellent video. A very understandable explanation between the 2. The best praise is plagiarism. I hope you don't mind if I share this and use it.
Great video! NeurOptimal is wonderful, and Jean Alvarez is a master at explaining how it can help. Thank you for all you do to help people struggling with chemobrain and other issues. We'll do what we can to help those down in this neck of the woods! :-)
