My right acl is suspected of rupture (MRI report awaited) The left required reconstruction about 12 years ago. Neither of them were torn due to sports injury as I am myelomengeocele so my legs were already "challenged" but nevertheless, the damage further impeded mobility. The plus side is that I am well versed in crutch use!

From the very first moment I met Dr Imran Ahmad, his expertise and compassion filled me full of hope and confidence at a time when I was in a dark place, having just received the results of my biopsy. From our first meeting to my robotic radical prostatectomy surgery with Dr Ahmad carried out at Ross Hall Hospital, I knew I was in the best of hands. Having just had my surgery six days ago, I can't believe how well I feel so soon afterwards. I really did expect a lot more trauma on my body. This again is down to Dr Ahmad's expertise on robotic surgery. Hopefully my recuperation will continue without complications. When I informed a friend of mine that Dr Ahmad was treating me, he simply said "he is the best", and he is. I have a feeling I am going to be eternally grateful to this man.I will update when I complete my post op consultation with the results of the surgery.
After months of physio and root nerve block, the next option is decompression surgery which sounds scary. I feel more confident in knowing what to expect at the next consultation and what questions I need to ask. Simply having a high level synopsis of the surgery and expectations around recovery has been really helpful. Thank you for the peace of mind and understanding decompression surgery. I appreciate how you made it simple, understandable and informative whilst easing any worries or fear. Thank you!
Thanks a lot very helpful After hyserscopy how many days required for driving? Have done my surgery 4 days back can I go to pick my son up from school? Plz reply Nd what about daily house chores like cooking nd cleaning Regards
Hi, thank you for your message. Where did you have your surgery? I suggest it's better you speak to them about this and get their advice. King regards. Federica
Perhaps you could do a video on outpatient hysteroscopies....the challenges women have with these procedures due to pain control limitations. Thank you
Just come across these stretches/ exercises that you recommend, I unfortunately have a bursar that's very painful in the hip, my question is would these exercises irritate the bursar and cause more pain with the friction, thank you, Robbie
What a wonderful, calm, and professional surgeon Mr Westerman is. I had my hip replaced late Monday afternoon and going home 40 hours later. The whole team at Meriden hospital are fantastic, from the HCA's, Nurses, auxiliaries, and physios, everyone has been so attentive. Thank you each and every one of you ❤
Recently (4 weeks ago), I had foraminal decompression surgery to relieve the symptoms as a result of foraminal stenosis (L3-L4; L4-L5) in my left leg. The operation was a success as about 90% of the leg pain has been relieved. However, since the surgery, I've had radicular pain in my right leg, but this time in the sciatic nerve. The pain is about as intense as my left leg before surgery. My question is: how common is this contralateral pain after surgery and is it a post-operative symptom or is another surgery in the works for decompression on my right side? (I hadn't any pain in my right leg previously but the MRI shows severe right side foraminal stenosis at L5 - S1 level).
@@GR65330 I’ll tell you what. Last year when I had a discetomy, the pain was tremendous for a while in the same leg. They said it was because of blood circulation that wasn’t there before. It died down after a few weeks but with disc degeneration I’m needing major surgery again. Hope you’re feeling better by now.
I have excrutiating pain on the inside of the knee. I've had this pain for several weeks. I've never known pain like this. I have an xray in three weeks time but I'm wondering if I should go the private route. I'm finding it hard to walk! A few months ago I was in Australia.... I'm wondering if inactivity on long haul flights and limited movement coupled with lots of walking has triggered this? I didn't have a problem until I got home! 😢 Thank you for the informative video.
This is baby #2 I started feeling flutters around 13/14 weeks im now 18 weeks and still feel movement even more so now but its not like 28 week kicks but its not like 13 weeks flutters i feel the baby alot more now
Just got diagnosed with combo of osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and bursitis- Senior Triple Play! Doc says PT is the answer. While waiting to begin my one-on-one therapy at a PT Center, I began to look up online. Overwhelmed by amount of different approaches. Found YOURS to be easiest follow. Thank you so much. How many times a day is optimal to do your routine? 1, 2, 3?
Thank you for this great information. I’m 2 weeks post op for decompression on L4 & 5 and was thinking I should be pain free by now but the operation site is still painful and I have to take paracetamol and ibuprofen. I’m glad you said 4-6 weeks for recovery, my daughter, who is a nurse, told me my expectations were too high 😂
