Hello everyone! I'm tonik_tzw, welcome to the channel. I've been gaming since the days of the ZX81, and have played mostly on PC until the last couple of years when I bought a PS4 Pro, it's certainly a different world! TZW stands for the Timezone-Warriors which is a PC clan that myself and a few others started back in the days of dialup, yup, we're that old! Now, I sail with a group of friends from all over the world as The Rusty Buckets. I'm a British Army veteran of 16 years service, so I've no idea how I ended up playing a game based on ships! I really didn't rate it much at first and I don't take it out often but on this occasion I pulled a good game that had to be played different from a tactical perspective compared to my usual destroyer play.
I've just completed all the missions for the mutsu on my free to play account with just those two ships in AI. Had an 8 kill game in AI in Iwaki. The only other kill was by AI and it was two DDs ramming each other!
Good game, sir. :) I do like the low-tier Premiums, have massed quite a collection of them over the years. They're great for a 'warm up' to a session, as well as being simply fun AND a good way to re-visit the basics of play. Had the Iwaki for a while - she's a good little boat. Then, I've yet to find a Tier 2 or 3 Premium that I didn't enjoy playing.
It can be a little too easy when you've got high level commanders and inspirations. When I'm 'stuck with what I've got' on the free to play account, you've really got to think more about each engagement.
I was on for my best game ever last night on Greece in daring, I had a kraken and 160k damage including sinking 3 dds myself a shima gearing and a lushun, took a then b cap solo, i got nervous af when i realised ive killed every ship so far and there were 4 full health ships at the edge of cap with no blue ships left alive on that side and there was half a game left, as I was about to torp their full healrh yamato i tried clicking a square on the map for info about their carrier position the game kicked me 😠 I actually felt I was in a position to sink all 9 ships as my 4 team mates weren't in good positions the game didn't let me back on for 3 minutes saying DNS error 5 then when it let me on their halland was gone and our yamato sunk theirs straight away torped their iwami captured c and started shooting their carrier which our BB stole stole lol I still ended up with 170k damage 6 kills and 4k xp just reeling at what could of been damage and xp wise had the game not booted me for sure I would of been looking at 300k and possibly all 9 kills. Sorry for the vent I just know daring is your most played ship and I've been so annoyed about it since last night.
I've had that happen before when your on for an outstanding hand and something happens to kick you out and you frantically try to get back in. When you do, either you're dead or the entire situation has changed and your plan is no longer possible.
@@tonik_tzw Yeah luckily I was still alive and capped parked meters outside c with a low health iwami 6 km away it just turned a once in a lifetime game into an outstanding game. never going to be in that position to sink all 9 ships again. Not even seen that done although I don't doubt it's been done before probably.
These top tier destroyers sit at 4.7 in war thunder (Diana, Daring, but I like the Diana more) and i really like how these rattleships handle. They are pretty and nasty at the same time.
You’re cancer! I just played a round with you and you’re a cry baby complaining about everyone else. You admit you’re bad at playing BBs and you’re in a Minnesota blaming everyone else instead of truly understanding the game. Whoever watches your videos need to not listen to your advice😂
Good game. Kind of a 'bolt from the blue' end for you, but you did your part, no question. Always been fond of the Daring - four of them served under the Aussie flag, three home-builds (Vampire, Vendetta and Voyager) and one bought from the Brits (Duchess). Of these, Vampire survives as a museum ship in Sydney.
@@tonik_tzw I’ve been playing her a lot on lighting with Mordorf and bergamini I think it’s nice to have a British dd that can hold its own and catch people out with a quick reload, I think she would be great on Cossack 38
👍I did all I could last night 1 Tier 4 game & A tier 5 game, did my job held my side, got 2 Krakens in a row and still lost those games due to bad players on our team. Sometimes you can only do so much😊.
I'm heading out tonight but dropping a video from a livestream on Monday in the Daring with Blue Archive commander. Literally down to the last few seconds trying to get a win with a completely different playstyle.
It isn't the AI cheating, there is a simple explanation. When the AI is not actively targeting anything, the turrets return to their natural position as the ship would appear in port, when the ship is no longer detected it is made invisible to the player, the game does not track visual updates made to the ship until it is made visible again to the user, when you throw lag in to the mix, this happens. Notice how when the turrets snap, they are in their natural position. In short, it's just a coincidential lag spike at the right moment. I've seen it once or twice before. The AI gets bent over in AI battles, they clearly do not cheat. 🤣🤣
It was a code given away on Reddit a long time ago. Might be worth searching out asking if it's available still. There's an orange ship symbol that goes with it.
They're are some things that are value but I fail to see why people spend real money on early access crates. There is no cure for stupid, well, there's a bullet, but that's frowned upon by the law!
no way.. Too expensive. There was ONE Azur Lane commander I wanted so I spent GXP on the Suzuya knowing AL was coming back. Guess what? No AL Atago.... WTF
I ended up testing the new tier 4 pan European DD, and as soon as I finished the mission, I sold it, no regrets. It was worse than what I already own for Pan-European DD already. It wasn't very good stacked side by side against any other tier 4 DD, I already owned, but I really hated it. It's weaker than its counterpart pan-eur top DD line for sure because i tested both tier 4s side by side.
I got the tier 5 from the free crates, dont normally get anything apart from when the russian dds dropped i got 4 5 and 6 all from the crates that were given in the campaign.
The reason I throw these videos together is too try and show what I consider with the price and what is absolutely ridiculous. 26 commanders at £15 each is diabolical!
