Hey everyone! my name is David Lee Jackson friends know me as DEEJAY and welcome to my world!! I started this channel in the early year of 2013 with the passing of my late grandmother. From then I try and leave something behind for my friends and family to look back on. All the events, traveling, and experiences. I have felt humbled and lucky to be who I am and the life I have walked.
The Year is now 2023 and I look back on the 10 years of memories and projects I have done on this channel. I am so happy and thankful for each and everyone that I have shared a memory with. The good and the bad. For in life is where the real lessons are taught and experiences are felt.

Yeah apparently one Saturday night farty Pamela and that fruity Fred character really let rip a right smelly one. Omg alll them making a desperate dash for those exits because of that smell. Omg stinky Pamela 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great to watch this. I've been buying and reviewing these for my blog, but stopped at issue 13. I agree, there do seem to be an awful lot of dice. That binder looks nice.
Yeah there was! During my last D&D session with my group I gave the spare dice to my players as Xmas gifts from Santa in my one shot :P Thanks for the support and see what happens in issues 15-18
@@thedeejaynetwork Cheers, Buddy! Merry Christmas! I think I subscribed to your channel a few months ago.. Always good to see other people making good videos in South Shields! 😎
The video was fun dude, you should absolutely do it again! I'll be putting my binder together this weekend, and I don't mind getting all the dice, as long as all the other stuff that comes with it is great quality and actually worth collecting (like the DM board, dice jail etc). Great vid man!
Thanks lad! I think I’ll just keep to my 10 minute videos. But at least things are coming together. Also starting from new episode I’ll be talking about my progress in cosplaying Strahd for comic con
Yeah there was black Bob formerly of the boys high school and Lynn greaves formerly of south Palmerston street also farty Pamela Johnson on her Saturday night disco and also Tracy did the karaoke on a regular basis and also at the former dock pub. Those Saturday night disco will never be the same again in a totally different era.
Yeah apparently farty Pamela and her partner fruity Fred one Saturday night really let rip a really bad smelly one. Bloody hell you never seen that crown bingo clear so fast. People were panicking to get out the exit doors. And that bloody smell crikey.
The characters will be lvl 5 by end of the series 12 characters one for each class, gnome bard next then dragonborn barbarian, its shame you didn't show off what was in the magazines. still waiting for my 3-6 to come in post.
Ah sweet! :) I was looking at what might be coming in the later magazines. I might give a preview / encounter in the magazines in the next episode. Just didn’t want the video to drag on longer. But I’ll see what I can do in November :)
@@thedeejaynetwork was mainly issue 6 as not out in shops yet, there some good articles about, another about 11 sets of dice with pics, some with tins some without, more plastic standees and inspiration tokens.
Nice review.. makes me drool (still waiting for my issues 3 to 6 to arrive in the post hehe). One thing, and I see EVERYONE doing this. When turning out the standee miniatures, alwayss stand the base on a firm top.. like a table, then gently push the mini into the slot. Try do it holding both pieces in your hands and its a sure way to break the base :-)
Thanks Stephen. I think the protective layer was still on the figures, hence why I couldn’t get figures to connect. But the real lesson in this episode is READ THE BLOODY INSTRUCTIONS haha
Started reading the first issue last night, finally managed to get some time to myself. Really enjoying it so far, a lot to take in and a lot to learn... But getting the gist of it so far and am really enjoying the magazine. Hopefully the delivery for my first 2 issues arrives today or tomorrow - I'll be looking forward to getting the first binder in November and getting it all filed up neatly and maybe be able to start a session with mates. Thought I'd drop another comment as a suggestion. There's be a few videos about the magazines where people have opened them and briefly gone through it and it's generally good news but there's nothing in depth really. It'd be cool to see someone with D&D experience that goes through the magazine more thoroughly and give a perspective on what's good, what to ignore, what's useful and what can be used for future campaigns etc. I wouldn't worry about giving away spoilers - it's why we (the newbies) are watching vids like yours. Just a thought anyway! I would imagine I'd see fewer people reviewing these magazines long term, it would be nice to see some long term consisancy while these mags are being issued :)
Went into WHSmith and they didn't have any issues I could buy. I could look elsewhere I guess but I think I'm just going to subscribe and take it from there. Looks like a really good subscription, especially for newcomers like me! Keep up the great content, and thanks for the shout-out (Andy is totally fine hahaha).
@@thedeejaynetwork Might need to head up Asda later on anyway so yeah I'll check it out - but Asda in Byker hasn't got a great magazine selection but I'll keep you posted if I manage to pick up a copy!
@@thedeejaynetworkWell I managed it! Didn't have any copies in Asda but managed to swing into Morrisons on the way back and found what seemed to be the last issue (on the shelf at least)! I've had a quick flick through it, very impressed by the quality of the print (and I know what you mean about that fresh magazine smell!) and the dice set - I've also subscribed from issue 1 so I'll do the same as you and give the spare copy to a mate who's also interested in the magazines. Looking forward to having a proper read through - very impressed so far!
I'll be picking up my 1st issue on Wednesday, I know nothing of D&D really but always have been interested to check it out. I've liked the vid and subbed to the channel, be interesting to see what comes with future issues! Looking forward to seeing more of your content!
Thanks Andrew! I’m checking to see when the first package will be arriving and it’s looking like Friday 13th! Would you believe! So as soon as I get issue 2 I’ll be putting up video 2! 😊 Hope you enjoy D&D as much as I do
Hopefully I'll find out soon enough! Popping into the shop tomorrow to pick up the first issue if I can, and if I like what I see I think I'll subscribe. Great channel bud!@@thedeejaynetwork
@@thedeejaynetwork Good stuff! if you ever decide to host a D&D remotely and happy to have a middle aged (West Ham fan) newbie join then please keep me in mind! enjoy buddy :)
Thanks for the support Stephen I’ll be continuing the dungeons and dragons adventurer for now until I get the curse of Strahd package. Unfortunately it’s like £500.00 so might be a while haha
One of the Stewart’s I think it was “691” was amazing and really went the extra mile to help people at the front. Had amazing banta aswell as making sure everyone had water and filling up water bottles.
Enjoying the series so far.👍 Like the mixture of greenscreen and outdoor filming done together for this parody series. Looking forward to see what happens next~
good houghton side that, class to see the turn around in numbers and quality. James Ross v. Dec Crawford in the middle of the park bet that was a canny battle.
