U know ego is not competition for omniman in physically prowess however it would take more than Omni man to kill ego ( in the comics it took Omni plus two other viltromites to be able to destroy one planet) while ego can slowly take over your home planet w/o anyone noticing so it really comes down to the circumstances of the fight
