i actually enjoy how the different octaves that Shiho and Ichika use compliment the song, it almost gives it a double meaning. with the way Ichika is singing, she sounds sorrowful, "who stained this girl's heart black, who was it" sounds almost desperate, like she's been betrayed and is hurting from that, but Shiho sounds more angry and to her, that line sounds more aggressive, as if she's daring who hurt her to a fight. both emotions fit with the lyrics and it rlly sounds cool to have the two perspectives like that even if it wasn't intentional
this blend is actually ass, Ichika should sing lower like how she did in Meteor Pulse, then this shit would be so fucking good but lets be fr, this is genuinely hard to listen to if you study music.
1) There's a large gap in the notes Ichika and Shiho sings here. When they sing together, they're both singing in the same volume, not one of them being a background vocal. 2) The notes don't harmonize. Their voices don't blend in with eachother, because of how high one of them is singing, and how low the other one is. While none of them are background vocals. 3) I feel like there isn't a big effort made when it came to the mixing. The instrumental sounds oddly silent, and more muffled, but the voices sound clearer and louder. 4) The lack on Rin in here is just a crime. Not to mention, the shit tuning, and not changing her voicebank.
tbh i like the contrast between ichika and shiho’s high and low vocal, idk why but i just like how it sounds, many others may not but it sounds really ear pleasing and nice to me 😅 i feel like it compliments eachother a lot
Unpopular opinion: I actually like how Ichika and Shiho sound in the chorus. Shiho is the deep voiced one and Ichika sings high-pitched, and I really think they complement each other.
its sega’s fault bro, the chorus just doesn’t harmonise at all. dont start hating on the characters 😅 and wdym favourite, she’s literally the lead vocalist
I feel like Shihos voice ruins the whole chorus. Not trying to hate on her I absolutely adore her however I feel like if it was just rin and ichika or shihos voice blended in more it would sound better
imo she adds a more emotional type to the song because (i love ichika and rin fyi), ichikas singing is more so aggressive u could say? and rins voice is robotic yet realistic (well she is a vocaloid so yk). solo covers might b for you 👍
