Weird decision to put this option somewhere else now if Im being honest. I liked it when it was just a click of button alongside with the other render options
Noob here. How the heck did you add the new window? My arrows just stretch/shrink what's already there. I was watching a beginner's tutorial and now I'm here because I was supposed to use Bloom in the tutorial. Facepalm.
I was quite surprised that the assumption is that I each asset library only contains one blend file. Fortunately, it’s not too hard to fix, but as you said, that’s not really the point in terms of usability.
I think I see why they did this; it creates continuity between the render engines, and recategorizes a function that _is_ really meant for post-processing. The little part of me that is afraid of stepping out of what I know is annoyed, but I really should get to know the compositor more.
welp, my viewport FPS drops to 1 when I do anything, tried about 24 different methods to fix it, now its 25 he he, good video though, glad it helped others lol, gj
Cycles users: You Eevee users complaining about the new Bloom change are pathetic. We've used the compositor since the beginning, and had to do extra steps.
Bloom isn't a light source/light volume but a post processing effect based on brightness. It wouldn't be reflected, however if the bright surface or light is being reflected, and it was bright enough bloom would affect it as well. Try playing with the mix and threshold if the bloom isn't intense enough.
Thank you for the fix.... But I DID NOT check the location box my self.... Just another blender issue. You don't have to say "bug" but you can say "Undocumented Feature".
I think it might have been a mistake keeping the same name for Eevee, it’s a new render engine really so doesn’t behave like the old one. Totally understand the frustration.
cant thank you enough, i have been on this project for like zillionth hour figuring why wouldnt the damn bevel modifier wont work..... you just saved my new laptop....
That’s fine- if that is too much as I have said for others please reach out and ask and I’ll sort you out. Many have seen the value of having the add-on and it is OK if you don’t. 👍
@@MichaelBridges3D i know, its work to do a addon, programming... stick with you, BUT it was free before you do that, after that too and why should i pay for a free setting? my english is not the best, but i hope you get the point?
Now scripts created on ChatGPT can get errors. I’ve created a Blender add-on that automates the process of having GPT generate code, running it in the text editor, and pasting any errors back into GPT. It also automates finding code examples to give it. You can provide it with any add-on or file as an example. For people who write Blender Python scripts, this is a game-changing tool. Is there a way I could get you to do a video on it? Or maybe I could send you a copy to test-it’s really robust, with over twenty thousand lines of code.
That would be a great way of texturing as with a trim sheet, in theory at least, you know the texture coordinates of each texture. The mapping would still be challenging though
could you make it any shorter plese i just wanna give a model laser eyes and i dont feel like waiting 7 minutes to learn how to give a monkey laser eyes no offence intended
Hi there, just tested v1.2 on a fresh Blender install and it appears to be working- can you reach out via email or perhaps discord- canopy.games/p/discord so you can share more details / screenshots
Hi, I tried this but when I render the scene it doesn't look the same as what is shown in the "Layout" tab. Like as though compositing is not being applied when I render it.
Firstly, make sure you are in edit mode that’s a common mistake. Make sure you select all the vertices you want to potentially merge. Finally, press the M key and select By Distance. Still works on 4.2.1 😊
