This was gorgeous but so sad!! Love you Morro! You will forever be one of the best Ninjago characters of all time. Also I like how the person who posted this also has a Varian from Tangled animatic and Morro and Varian are so similar lol. I need to see a crossover with both of them <3
It's been a month, but I'm back! I would like to mention that this released while I was on an airplane, and I watched it at least six times (stopped keeping count after five). I love the little animation effect on SASASAP Siffrin and ISAT Siffrin swapping places at the beginning (and of course, SASASAP Siffrin ending up as Loop). Of course the choices of using Loop's second wish star and Siffrin's original wish star is inspired. I should also point out how much I love your art style with these characters. There's so much texture; I love it! "You'll get the green light / I'll get the old door in the face" sums it up really well, doesn't it? (I'm screaming). Anyways, I also love the backgrounds in these shots. You make the un-warped House look very inviting. Also, the effect on the spikes covering Siffrin's eyes on "the old door in the" before fully shifting to Loop on "face" is amazing. The tiny Loop is very adorable. I wish for them to have great mental health. 0:32 THE PERSPECTIVE ON THIS SHOT. It's SO GOOD. I also love how you draw both of their body languages as well. The tree environment looks so cool. 0:46 Love how the fallen stars kind of look like pieces of broken glass. Ow. "& painfully out of place" OW. (I also love how you draw all of the party members. It's them!) 0:52 Once again with the expressions and body language of each of the party members. You can read so much from them in a single shot, and that's incredible. 0:56 The perspective of all of them falling mixed with the light coming off from them? *chef's kiss* The coin flip animation is so smooth, and I love how it ties into the symbolism of the game. The way that the drawings somehow feel so much more intense after the first "I've got problems" is wonderful as well. I love the comic-style inclusion of Siffrin attacking Loop; it fits in very well with the style of the game. THE SHIFT TO RED IS MAKING ME GO INSANE. It's quick, but man is it effective! I also freaking love the shot at 1:17. The glitchiness adding to the intensity of it. How Loop basically towers over Siffrin; how they're doing the Scissors Craft symbol; the sheer emotion in their eyes even though you can't see most of their facial features. You can see Loop's human face under their light at 1:24. And what if I cried. The way it zooms back out to a wider shot of Siffrin seeing all the stars vanish. You can feel the loss on the screen but with a twinge of "this isn't the end." I didn't even mention the typography, which is top-notch. Also, I don't know if I'm reading too much into this, but I love the detail of Loop's game over screen ending with them being pulled stage right instead of stage left (like it does in the game). It seems as though instead of being pulled back in time, they might be being thrown into the future at the end. Overall, this animatic is amazing and wonderful and fantastic and so well thought-out!
YOUR KILLER QUEST VAT7K ANIMATIC IS ACTUALLY THE THING THAT GOT ME INTO PJO IN THE FIRST PLACE WHEN I SAW THIS POP UP ON MY FEED I THINK MY SOUL ASCENDED!!

AND THE WAY NURU IS ANNABETH, VARIAN IS PERCY, AND YONG IS GROVER? IT ACTUALLY FITS SURPRISINGLY WELL AND I LOVE IT AND THE WAY HUGO WRAPS HIS ARM AROUND VARIAN AT 0:56 AHHH AND THEN VARIAN PUSHES HIM OFF AT 0:58 LMAO I LOVE IT
:O, early to maroisedot animatic!! Looks amazing, all the character animation's so well thought out!!! Edit: If I had a nickel for every time I saw an animation with a ridiculously low amount of views and over 70% likes, I'd have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird it's happened twice.
