EMR is below basic EMT that's what I am Essentially, of course in the state of Texas it is recognized as ECA (Emergency Care Attendant). It is a good start for anyone who wants to pursue in any form of careers in healthcare or Emergency Services.
It is one of the first things i would consider taking into account the mechanism of injury/history and your crew member should not let go until the patient is fully immoblised unless the scene becomes dangerous and/or other reason stated in your training/policies and procedures
