I have this model backup camera on my 2011 Nissan Frontier. Works great. I think I have only charged it twice. Since January. Charge lasts a long time. No drilling. Or cutting of wires or splicing anything. Super easy install. Just attach to license plate bracket Plug in power from screen and you’re good to go.
We need a full 1080P review video! Send me a unit to review and demo, I’ll film it in true HD resolution. This is a bad way to showcase such a good product!
Excellent choice I have one of these on my 2011 Frontier. Older version bolts onto license plate frame. Model TW-1 But from same company. I’ve had it since December 2023 and it’s been great. Auto-Vox makes good stuff.
It's high time you guys brought out a 4K version of this. Well overdue. I have been a V5 user for 3 years and it's a good product but 1080 in today's world can be considered lo-resolution. License plates are still unreadable unless they are very close up.

I bought a Auto-vox W10 from Amazon. I installed it and it failed to work. I diagnosed the problem using their manual. It indicates the monitor was bad. Auto-vox refused to warranty it because I bought it from Amazon. Amazon refused to take it back because I installed it after the 30 day window. I was sick with pneumonia.

I have one of these units for approx 1yr. The screen is now dead. I double checked all rear wiring and its fine, the nighttime LED comes on lens when I put my thumb over it to simulate darkness, also I can see red LED illuminated on transmitter module. Also in dash , the 'pro' version usb socket LED is illuminated red,....but screen is dead. I tried pressing the "^-M-v" buttons but nothing happened. So do these thing only have 1yr lifespan??

Had the same issue myself with front camera and found that the earth to the bodywork was not sufficient. Rectified that and after a couple of attempts the camera connected.
Hi guys, great work there with the camera simple design. Would be amazing to connect it to the phone and then use it instead of having the front screen and cigarette lighter connection.. Really truly plug and play and wireless all the way 😊 Can you make it happen? 🙏
Wireless means wireless. Anything that isn’t plug and play isn’t wireless. If a wire has to be connected to something then it isn’t wireless. Connecting a screen to an outlet for power is an exception.

From what I understand is the camera view is not continuous? The “video” will timeout and revert to a normal mirror? I have a cap on my truck and would like continuous viewing while driving.
