its 100% recycled rubber. and from my experience the ball bounces truer so you don't have any of that. Turf was so much better in lacrosse for that very reason

Yeah, but when a ground ball hits one of those little black pebbles in the turf and hits you in the face... can't really do anything about that

"No such thing as a bad bounce, only bad fielding!" haha That's what our coach used to say everyday.

For baseball, I prefer to Natural Grass. Turf makes to bounce too awkwardly when you field balls. For Gridiron football, turf is the way to go

@ruff3651 I think because the cheese factory helped pay for it not sure though but the colors of the cheese factory are blue and yellow so probably.

I played on that field in the 70's.

Hellas built the stadium but a turf company laid turf down..its not about how quick company can make something its a bout who makes it better and is more precise

we're getting a new high school and we got a turf football field! its amazing! i love it! but its kinda weird practicing on turf then going to play away on grass fields! hah

Its an honor to play on that field with the cheesemakers!
