Rad Danny! This is really wild...I enjoyed seeing someone film you from the side as a break from the go pro. Very cool! The KX250 is sweet! Coming home from the track is the main goal, stay safe and stay upright!

Great stuff dude. You keep saying how the bike is old and the suspension just isn't great.....but your way faster and smoother on the kx250 than you are on the kx450.😂😂 I need to get on of these kx250s once the cr250 is done.
@@Randy_Cox it’s a awesome ride, but it’s not as cush as the 450, and its violent compared to the smooth power of the 450. I love how you are a total two stroke guy now ✊✊
@fivetwentythreepov 🤣🤣 I love them all. Riding the 450x at the dunes made me love that bike all over again. But seriously just watching the videos of you riding the two bikes....your smoother and I would assume faster on the kx250.
@@Randy_Cox lol, well it doesn’t feel smoother, like a bucking bronco out there. It’s good, but I get pretty tired after two -three laps and I don’t feel as in control. But I do love me some two strokes.

Hi I know this is off topic , I saw you vid about riding and recovering from carpel tunnel surgery. I'm 6 weeks out from the surgery and dealing with the same pillar pain and swelling. I ride ALOT and just wondering how long it was until you were healed? I've been riding street bike already but want to hit some single track in a few days.
@@foxtailadventures I was back to riding as soon as I healed and didn’t have to worry about opening the wound up again, pretty sure I was back at 6 weeks just not 100 percent. Everyone is different but I could ride without much issue but I couldn’t do things like push ups for about a year due to pain, I know it sounds weird but I could grip my dirt bike fine my pain was in the pad/meaty portion close to my wrist if that makes any sense. @fivetwentythreepov thank you° yes that makes total sense I went for long decently aggressive adventure bike ride today and was quite happy with my hands at 6 weeks out. Like you riding feels fine because the grip dosent touch that part of my palm. And having no numbness is so amazing

Yeah, that was a rough start to that second moto. Seemed like you were in a class of cherry pickers. You wouldn't think a pack of true 40+ begginers would be gone in half of a lap. Props to you for getting out there and finishing both motos, though. It was way too hot out to ride motocross.

@@Dissentient01 yes prospect is open, it has different fire restrictions than lower in the valley, not sure why but I’ll take it. Of course you have to check before you go to make sure it’s open as it could change at the drop of a hat. RB is technically closed and has been for a few years. My understanding is there were a few injuries there and land owners didn’t want to be responsible. Not sure if that’s true or not.
This video still doesn’t show how truly gnarly Golden Stairs was this time around. My worn Tusk Talon Hybrid tires were not the move even if they are a gummy hybrid. Next time I’ll have new or newer tires and we can go after a nice summer/fall rain so we have more traction and less dust🤘Either way this ride day was epic and definitely in the books as one of the best times I’ve had with Mr. FivetwentythreePOV 🫡

@@riders.oregon4474 I’m definitely planning on it, as it is sitting on the bench already. I haven’t checked clearance but I don’t think it will be an issue, as it would be a major mistake for Kawasaki to now allow for an oring chain on a modern 450. The stock chain is a stretcher and I am adjusting mine every 2rides with 14hrs on the bike. If you can recommend putting an hr meter on, I love them for maintenance reasons and think all bikes should come with them.
@@riders.oregon4474 no spark arrestor on the stock 24s. Competition use only. My 16 does have a aftermarket spark arrestor, which reminds me, I need to pull it and clean out the carbon lol, it’s been awhile.
@@fivetwentythreepov I just picked up a 24 . That screen in the silencer sure looks like a spark arrestor, but even if it functioned that way they would not admit it.
@@riders.oregon4474 not to my knowledge, but I have often wondered the same. I like to think I’m pretty smart about it and stay in the more open areas and away from the dry grass, and have been riding out there for 30 years without ever being questioned or talked to about it. I think the stay on improved roads would apply here, and there is no singletrack it’s all open and double track. I feel more comfortable riding here than the peak in conditions like this. But that is a good question.
@@ddrowdy2 yeah I don’t know why I put that in the edit, but I do it respectfully, hand signals and I ride slow as I try not to draw any attention to myself, and I do have my endorsement, but I don’t recommend anyone do anything that is not 100% legal. So don’t do as I do lol.

I live 5 miles from a BLM riding area, I have been tempted to bypass the load/unload/load/unload work but....There are at least 5 police (that I know of) that live between me and there so...I got a dual sport. One of these days I'll probably go for it on the YZ

@@Randy_Cox yeah it worked pretty well at moto541, dirt there is hard pack with some loam and wood chips so you kinda ride it like sand, keeping the weight off the front wheel. Honestly nothing is going to work there everywhere so it did well. Held up fine but on just over 1hr on it. And yeah sometimes you just gotta spit on that thing 😂.
@@Randy_Cox the forks were pretty soft on the 24, and now they feel a little stiff, but they will get better with some more break in time, and I’m still adjusting clickers to get them where I want them. Good news is I cased the crap out of a jump and bounced to the bottom without crashing or blowing out my ankles so I say it’s a win. I felt that way on yours as well, like an over jump would be ok. Did not feel that way stock.

@@XDreamKidz I have been using one from a company called Sopro Mounts, they are well made and I have had mine for years. I think you used to be able to get them on amazon but not last I checked, but they do have a web site you can get them from. Yeah it was probably a good call to cancel this weekend, but I’m ready for some racing soon I hope. See you out there.
When is practice at moto541? I dont see updates on website or IG. Is it every Friday afternoon and Sunday morning? I plan to race the next round but need to practice. Thanks!
Unfortunately Moto541 doesn’t have any scheduled practices, other than usually Friday evening before the weekend of races. If they do decide to have an open practice it is often only posted on instagram once late in the week so you just have to watch it close. Also they have a web site but it’s not updated much and a bit hard to find stuff imo. Hopentonseenyou out there at the next round 👍.
Yooo ignore the haters your gonna progress I live near moto 541 and I tried to hit the huge triple that was there before and cased it then broke my wrist. The track looks fun!!!! Have a great time.!! Moto 541 is our best track yet in the area good job man!!
