Hi Carolyn I like your choices very much. I am so glad you got a linen sweater…love the color and the v neck. I was so excited last year when I got the linen sweater at an estate sale and will wear it for the first time this fall. I need more green in my closet. I did love the corduroy pants. I have two pairs and when it is cold there is nothing better. Jeans are not great for warmth. I love the color and the wider bottom. I was eating a few more snacks and then wow three pounds up yesterday..got back on the healthy wagon today…it’s not easy and got my exercise outside today. I do love the last pants. I can not believe Amazon has such a better price. I am with you though on buying too many of the cargo style. I did love that beautiful blue color of the other top. I used to not pay any attention to the length, but after losing some weight I realized the long tops only make me look shorter. I used to like that the longer covered “stuff” up. 😂😂😂😂My friend always says buy petite, but petite doesn’t always work..in fact they don’t work in pants often at all and sometimes not in tops. That was a good Fix . Thanks for sharing. I need to get out my fall and winter clothes and see if I need anything . For my closet situation that means packing up summer stuff and going to the attic to get cold weather clothes, and it is just too early to think of that. We are going back to ninety degrees one day this week. I am not sure I am ready for fall, but sure ready for fall clothes. Take care and have a great rest of the work week. Did you get your hair cut? Hi Rita! I was able to justify the sweater because I have nothing like it. In terms of material, color, thickness. Plus the v-neck and fits into my semi-neutral aesthetic. (Or maybe I should say earthy aesthetic). I have the off-white sanctuary reissue pants I got in a previous fix, but they are thin and not for winter. So these corduroys will be good. The brown pants were no longer on sale at Amazon and I decided against the stretch and cargo. I have a pair of tan cargo joggers and a pair of tobacco pants, these just weren’t unique enough. Nothing wrong with them , but I try to be reasonable with my purchases. If that blue sweater came in spring, I might have purchased…had trouble styling it for fall. The jacket just wasn’t floating my boat. I do want a checked blazer but more muted. I’m the same way with petites. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Thanks so much for watching!
I kept beige cords and green sweater. The brown pants were too stretchy and I want to stop with the cargos. I’ve got my fill. The blue sweater was nice, but it just wasn’t integrating with the rest of my wardrobe. And the blazer-didn’t like print. TFW!

How tall are you? Curious for the Hayden Pants. I am 5'3" and was wondering if they'd be too long for me if I was to request them. Great Fix though overall 🥰
@@janinehuldie2483 I’m almost 5’2” ;). But all legs. I think my inseam is 28” for a straight and 30” for boot/flare with heels. I was surprised they worked with heels for me. I would definitely try them. I liked the fit. They also come in straight leg with a shorter inseam. They are mostly cotton and I think 3% spandex.
Love the first outfit. I just bought some Levi brand corduroy cream color jeans and excited to wear. Will look for something in that gray green color. Love the look. 😊
I believe I just got that Liverpool blazer. It goes with the Liverpool trousers that you have with the button at the cuff. I wore that outfit to Church yesterday. I received many compliments.
@@tracybarr7308 so no, it is the same style but a different print. This one was a bolder brown and black check. I declined the print the same as the pants because although I like it, it’s just not something I need. I’m looking for traditional English countryside. I’m think navy and maybe burgundy checked or brown herringbone. It’s ok…I certainly won’t be naked without it! TFW.
Great outfits. Yay for the red shoes. I ordered a silver Coach pair of MJs from Macys but I have always worn Camper shoes in this style. Killer bunion on left foot. We had high 90s hot spell at home. Fortunately, we opted to go the Coast for R&R in Carmel and Monterey. Weather is trending down but still not fall temps.

Uggh, I definitely put-on some weight after we were away last month and trying to lose it here, as well. So, I feel your pain on that. That said, the struggle is real with fall and the holidays around the corner. But I keep reminding myself when I put my clothes on that I want them to still fit and like the way I look in them. Yes…same. They still fit but not the way I want them to. No eating out for me this weekend and I’m sticking to my macros (/calories). Next weekend is our anniversary and going to try to limit it then too. I have 6 weeks to get it off b4 our next vacation. TFW!

Oh, Carolyn! What a vacation disappointment!! I'm so sorry. You could have gone one a cruise that hit pacific ports (including Vancouver) for that, including plane fair! And no extra expense for food.
I know….but I really wanted to go inland. The area is amazing. One minute you are in the mountains and it’s cool, the next in the high desert with brush. The itinerary was good…the tour itself no. We are going on a cruise to Bermuda in October. No plane since it leaves from NJ. Food included. $2600. That is more like it! Thanks for watching.

I was looking into Alaskan cruise but decided to do one out of NJ to Greenland/Iceland. I haven’t booked yet. I hear Vancouver is beautiful, stay there a couple of days and try to get to Victoria.
Hi Carolyn That was a great q&a. We have never taken a bus tour and not sure I want to. Yes, I think with the cost, the bus company should have been better planned and taken you to dinner and took you back to the hotel at night. I remember when my dad was divorced we encouraged him to go on bus trips. My dad was about fifty nine, active, and was a fairly nice looking man. When he came home, he told us No more bus trips. He said the bus was full of older women who wanted to know if he wanted to get married. 😮 He took up camping by himself, hiked , cooked over a fire and never went on another bus trip. 😂😂😂. Carolyn , I used to be a big reader at night, but I have so many Utubers I watch, I have not read as much. Your books are an interesting topic, but think some of the stories would keep me awake, rather than relax me. I have watched a lot of the documentaries and it is so disturbing how people get into this cults. Thanks for explaining about your job...one of my questions. Are you still in pt for your hip pain? Hi Rita…probably not until 65 until retirement. But corporate America usually pushes you out b4 then. I haven’t started PT yet, they had no evening openings. And yes, bus was filled with older single women! TFW!
We've done a bus trip in Patagonia where English is not the dominant language. But I really sussed out reviews and got a good feel for the company prior. It worked out pretty well. But meals were included. Even wine at dinner was included (and half our group, of a dozen, didn't drink, so you can well imagine what my half did...). My son lives in Bend and loves it. I'm trying to figure out where your hotel was that was 6 miles away from the downtown! We've been to Crater Lake, yes it's very pretty, but more of a short hike area with lots of photo-ops. It's not someplace you stay for days at a time. Thanks for answering the questions, I recognized 3 of mine. 😊
So I think I misspoke about the 6 miles. I think it was 3 because I remember discussing with my husband about running there. We can do a 5k (3.1) miles and he reminded me it’s 6 miles since we had to return. When the bus did drive us there the next day, glad we didn’t attempt it, there were parts with no sidewalks and busy roads. We were by the Walmart, of course!! I am in a Facebook group created by a travel agent (not mine) about Cosmos. They all love it. Not me! Never again! TFW! Ps love Bend and may want to return someday!
Uggh, Carolyn that trip definitely sounded like you had to do more on your own than you should have had to for the money spent. So, I will definitely stay away from bus tour trips after hearing about your experience here.

I’m still trying to figure out why they charged so much for this trip. Hotels were probably $2500 and our share of bus $500. Throw another $500 for the park entry, gas….that’s $3500 not $6500. I feel I was misled and false advertising. I will sharing on other forms of social media. Still waiting for my refund! TFW!

Hi Carolyn That is the best outfits. I don’t think I have ever seen the Sanctuary brand at our Macys . I love the black lace shirt with that color of jeans , the red belt and the red shoes. Since they were only forty dollars , even if you don’t wear them often , it won’t be a big loss. I can not wear flat shoes. I very seldom find shoes that are comfortable.I agree, that black shirt will be something you won’t get tired of and the possibilities of how to style it is endless. It was a beautiful cooler day earlier on. We were cutting down a dead apple tree and pretty soon, I realized the black tee I was wearing was making me too warm. I don’t think I will be joining the Mary Jane shoe trend. I used to wear flat Mary Jane shoes with my red Catholic School uniform. This is not a trend that appeals to me. But fun for you if you like it.
I can understand that, especially if school was not a positive experience. I had black patent leather MJs, but only worn on special occasions. When I put these on, they made me smile. I don’t think this trend will stick around long, so don’t worry!😉

Let's see. Would love to know what your workout regimen looks like now that you were on the mend with your back issues. As you know, I have my own issues and cannot get back into a good workout routine here without fears that I will hurt myself again. So, curious what you are doing to help with staying OK and still keeping in shape.
I also was contemplating red flat Mary Janes but didn't want to spend a whole lot on the trend. I found some at Target for $24 that are super cute so I ordered them. They arrive tomorrow. Hoping they are somewhat comfortable and don't look super cheap. Fingers crossed. It is a very cute look. You should consider keeping them or check out the Target ones.
