@@camillo8575 thank you for the kind words! The plug position could be a problem if you don’t have angled cable and you play mostly sitting down. If you do play mostly at home while sitting, I would recommend getting an angle led cable. Take a look of my review about Brian Fay’s wireless system called “lollipop”. Cheers!
Young friend, the QX54 sucks but I have other reasons to mention than the Orion guy - after using it on gigs for a while: 1) on 6 strings I cant see the practicality of slanted frets 2) the trendy roasted maple tends to crack on these Indonesian made ones 3) because of this silly roasted maple fashion, the markers CANNOT be seen at dim light. 4) the jack out is on/in/at the worst location, bugs your lap when seated 5) there were producing mistakes on mine outside of the cracked fretboard: over chiseled neck, serious quality problem your palm literally go downhill on the neck's back at the upper frets area. 6) terrible, dark sounding pups, following this insane overwinding trend for the higher outputs. What else?
It's a pretty great guitar but mannn it's ugly af haha. What a disgusting looking guitar. Just ewww. Burn it. Kill it. Send it back to hell. Sucks too because it plays so nice haha. My warmoth super strats are pretty much better in every way anyways so I don't care lolz.
@@lyehyunsuk8885 haha cute and sexy certainly wasn’t my initial thought but I can see it 😆 the sound is just Logic’s stock electric piano which should be in garage band too 😁 thanks for stopping by! cheers!
It's a clone of the ProCo Rat with a toggle that increases gain and alters the EQ to emulate other Rat variations. I've never used the Holy War and I'm sure it's fine but I'd recommend getting a Joyo Splinter. It's a clone of the ProCo Fat Rat, with separate toggles like the original, one for low end boost and the other for switching between germanium and mosfet clipping diodes. I assume the Holy War toggle boosts input gain to create a more saturated distortion. For a difference of less than 10 dollars you can get a more faithful replica and I have a little more faith in the longevity of the Joyo pedal. I thought it was good enough to add to my board next to pedals costing 10 to 20 times more.
@@Leth1010mhoang Unfortunately no 😅 but what I played (aside from the vocal/lead melody) is the same as the original so the regular tab should do! Oh the solo is basically a combination of Marty’s first and second solo 😆
Thank you for the kind words! Yes it does! I've recorded that way too and I didn't hear any difference (some ppl def will say they do tho lol). For serious recording tho I prolly wouldn't use this wireless to record lol
The jack not fitting all guitar designs is not a problem, we can always add a 5inch input to jack cable and put the transmitter in the guitar strap or something. What worries me is interferences in gear packed stages. Did someone experienced any?
Extension def works. Personally I'd prefer not needing ofc cuz that's more cable that'll dangle around unless you figure out where to secure it. That said, this design is very common amongst most Chinese made budget wireless and it fits most guitars. As far as interference in a packed stage, this wireless set does use a relatively common frequency (2.4GHz) so I've seen ppl here in the comment section mention it. I'd invest in a better wireless system, or at least fine one that's not 2.4GHz, if you plan on using it on a packed stage with loads of other wireless systems going.
It does! This keyboard is velocity sensitive so you can control how hard/soft you hit the key! Honestly IDK if there's any MIDI keyboard out on the market that's not velocity sensitive cuz I don't even think that's considered functional lolol
@@Shredberry It didn't seem like it was when I first tried it, I guess my akai is more sensitive or maybe I had the wrong setting but now it's working so idk.
Please help. I just purchased these and for some reason - all the receiver seems to do is flash blue (not quick flicker, just flash blue) and never stays blue - what does this mean? They are not pairing but why?
I can’t tell if this is supposed to motivate me to do the same (due to this being Steve Vai), or remind me that I suck. Either way…bravo, SB! I’d say this is a straight up win.😅🥲➡️😁👌🏼🎸
🤣 loo00ol it def should motivate you!!! It's the result of 30days playing basically the same damn thing over and over and over lol if you play this at a slower tempo for 30 days, you will absolutely see progress! Don't give up!
Hey, Looking for an audio interface your program have been recommended... i have a question because I did not quite grasp the amp out thing. Will i be able to use my vox amp as monitor or buying monitors is an absolut need ? Thanks ahead from a French noob. Your playing is very good and the whole presentation is great.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Technically speaking yes you could use your amp as a monitor but in a limited capacity since that's not designed to be a "monitor". As far as I know, the Amp Out will only route guitar signal out so if you have MIDI drums and what not it won't come out through your amp. You'll have turn To Amp Out on on the AXE I/O Control Panel app (separate app). For more info, you can check out this IK tutorial! Great pedal. I have the keytars version. This happened with every pedal. Cheapest I found was 15$ but has a plastic enclosure. Some have upgraded tone stacks and parts. Just read the information at the end of the advertisement. Simples
Thank you kindly for your encouraging words! I've been a huge fan of Kiko for many years! I was surprised that I was able to play this when I first figured it out lol Cheers!
It's literally like a thousand dollars, regularly cheaper. That's still like, entry-level lmao Mid-range starts around $3,000 usd, high end can hit upwards of $10,000 usd. Entry level is $1,000 and under, and $1000 to $3000-ish I'd consider enthusiast, lmao
I agree with everyone here, your channel needs to 🚀 so i subbed. I just bought my first headless Q54 online and pick it up in-store tomorrow. It was this or the Fender Acoustasonic Telecaster Rosewood FB since i do tend to play acoustic more but i really wanna own a headless electric guitar. Cant help but feel i made the right choice. Keep up the great vids dude
Congratsssss!!!! You are wayyyyy too kind! 🙏🏽 it truly means a lot <3 You def made the right choice! Even if it doesn't become your primary guitar, just having a headless is super nice cuz it's essentially a travel guitar without sacrificing any of the full scale guitar elements!
@@Shredberry thanks dude!!! I got it at home and been on it every chance i can stop to play. I knew it was small but damn the excitement owning it got the better of me, ngl im a polynesian bro so this feels like a XL ukulele lol. needless to say, no regrets. my next buy will be a Fender, you got some suggestions on Fender electric guitars?
@@rukadots 🤣 XL uke had me lol’ed for real 🤣😂😂 glad you’re enjoying your Q tho! As far as Fender I can’t confidently make any suggestions these days. My guitar sales days were LONG gone and I did not keep up with Fenders lineup. Last time I was in GC I was shocked how expensive MIM Strats these days 😅 the most I can say is, want that country twang? Tele. Want a more all-encompassing sound? Strat. 😆
Hey glad the video got you into headless!! I've wanted to test out the HART for awhile cuz I was quite curious about their price point vs quality. It's promising that I've heard a lot of good things about it! Too bad I moved outta the states so I don't have access to these Chinese made instruments. It's funny cuz I am now in East Asia but it's harder to find these Chinese whole sales musical products now 🤣
In short.... He's just nitpicking very small problems and calls it sucks after those very small problems. 1. Veneer or top. Is it really an issue? there are other companies that uses maple veneers and I've never heard complaints about it. 2. Finish issues? Those blemishes can happen on shipping. If he would blame the company's QC because of it, it do sounds petty for me. 3. Tone knob issue? Can be fixed very easy. Wtf 4. Headstock? Difficult to cut the excess strings? Use other tools you snowflake 5. Gigbag issue? Then buy a better one. If you can spend a $1000 guitar surely you can spend on a better gigbag right? Wtf is happening to modern guitarists nowadays. It's getting filled with snowflakes
Haha it might come off that way cuz I've only highlighted his criticisms. He did have a lot of good things to say about the guitar too! Tho admittedly I did feel that it was nitpicky the very first time I watched it 😆
Brainless comment that's a lil too corpo dikrider for me... 1... Yes guy, it is a issue. Thinner wood = more likely to warp or ding. Plus less acoustic resonance. And before you "TONE WOOD FOR ELECTRICS IS A MYTH!" people jump up my arse about it, yes it doesn't matter really with medium or high volume but with low volume or acoustically it does matter soo... It does kind of matter. Lol what? Are we against bonus features now? If you're going to sit there and claim my resonant chambered high quality wood sounds worse acoustically than some punk azz squire, then you're just high lol. 2... Did you even see the damage on his model? Lol I can understand a ding mayyyybe happening during shipping on the outter edged but how tf did a ding happen in that spot? And so what? The guitar makers got no skin in the game when it comes to shipping it to you. No that's also their responsibility largely. If my worker screws you over, it's not just on my worker guy it's on me as well. 3... Lol not necessarily guy. Sometimes them knobs wont come off easy and require you to be very forceful. Might slip and damage the guitar even further. It's okay for companies to put players in that situation? Come on lol. 4... Yeah I agree with you on this one. Red handle linemans. Everyone should own a pair. Greatest metal cutting clippers out there. Perfect solution to his gripe. But he does make a point I wanna bring up. Guitars that have the string ends just sticking out to poke you? That suuux lol. I prefer locking or vintage style tuners for this reason... So the guitar still sucks in this regard lolz. You can twist it until it breaks off clean naturally but that's not good for the tuner slots. Don't do it a lot is all I'm saying... 5... Sorry but this is bull crap. Cases are much nicer and better for protecting the guitar. They just cost way more so these corpoz cheaped out on us that's all. 25 dollar sack vs a hard case that will last 100 years that costs like 150 or 200 haha. We used to get better deals on regular azz american standard strats back in the day. Your solution to his legit gripe is spend more money...... Got it... This comment is mostly dumb bro. Delete it lol. Snowflake.
@@dektrimusic ahhhhhh sorry I didn't get the notif for your response. Tbh, I'm not even sure anymore lmao I used to think it sounds softer but with distortion the difference isn't all that obvious. At this point it's just a habit I guess, from playing jazz style lead lines what not lol
It delivers what it promises at a fraction of the cost of some boutique pedal so there is no reason not to use it. Unless you just want the appearance of having boutique pedals on the board then that's a different story lol
Just saying, I'm glad I found this review, I don't know anyone else around me who uses this! I use this (BF-1B) for my violin, bass, and other random audio stuff. I am SUPER surprised at the quality, as I was skeptical because it came from... the place... but I was sold by it's slick design. Actually, even though I predicted it would be a sore thumb when attached, I knew it would actually be really nice for plugging into tightly bunched jacks. I ended up buying a little jack extender and did the same thing you did by placing it on the guitar strap, fastening it in place. It really is nice if you can manage that! The range, just as you said, is really reliable, and I can't believe there's basically no delay, like no kidding. Also, I've never had interference issues, even in some "noisy" atmospheres, maybe only once, but I think it was just because my make-shift attachment ensemble wasn't attached properly, haha. I love it, it's suuper sleek, it turns heads. But yes... that lollipop design, like... I love it, but if they made it with a swivel, that'd be perfect! I did also buy some angle jacks, but they were cheap so the BF just kept swinging down and I could feel it when I played, haha. Maybe if I had gotten some nice ones that didn't rotate inside the guitar jack... Anyway, this was a great review! Thanks for posting! It does seem that people are buying it on amazon again, but I can't find it on Amazon Japan! Just Amazon US!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! It is one of the most well recognized mic for a reason! And it is possible that you won’t find it on Amazon in other countries.
i saw the same video with the bearded old man recently and had the same thoughts as you. like your video, too bad your channel has so few subscribers. Now it has one more
