Screw the negative comments! These videos are awesome man! I've binged so many of your videos. Keep them coming! You should do a video on how you look for cars :)
I’m an actually dealer I just work on them at home. But depending where you live you can buy and sale a certain amount of cars legally. Google your state
They should do those things because you never really know who you're dealing with. Even if you know you were thorough fixing the car to flip it and are a trustworthyperson, the person buying the car don't know you, they don't know if you're trustworthy or how well you fixed up the car
You have to be making some type of a mistake somewhere for your channel to have so few subscribers because the videos themselves are great I love the content but I also want to see millions of subscribers on here...
I really want this hobby it will take time to get the money but damn these machine look extremely interesting keep the videos coming.... Watching from Zambia
Great vid man! Everybody shows the highs but not the losses. I had a hyundai mess me up already those GDI and 3 cyl engines are a gamble, I'm staying away from them unless its stupidly low priced that i could just sell it in parts and still make money
@@flippingcarsforfun hey man I tried but like I never noticed you said jay at the beginning the videos 😂! Love the content tho it’s kinda what flying wheels once was!
These engines start drinking oil, because of low tension piston rings, so engine at some point will get damaged. Many engines apart from these have the same issue, low-tension piston rings get stick into the piston and stop separing the oil from combustion chamber. There are many additives to unstick piston rings, some more effective and others not so much. Use the right piston rings soaker and change oil yourself every 5k miles and engine will not only stop drinking oil but will last forever.
I've taught in East Oakland and now East Side San Jose. The kids at the high school I teach at have it pretty rough. I'm going to remember this mindset this year and share with them.
@flippingcarsforfun Thanks man. Trying to do this for living and have got as far as getting approved for a lot 2 times (failed) for 2 years now and that's as far as I've gottenwon't. They want me to build ramps and do improvements. Been buying selling cleaning cars, motorcycles, Trailers you name it for probably ten years off and on. If it's The Lord's will, it'll happen or it wont. Thanks for the videos.
I Love how this video is making people lose it lmao! since I can't answer every comment. Read the title watch the full video I promote fixing the car when you have picky buyers your prepared ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8cLaAf-5qio.html
It’s called a good car inspection and no one should buy a car for you since you are offended by someone doing the due diligence to make sure they’re not wasting their time and money on a product that you are selling to them!!!
You should check out the full video before you go crazy!!!! 😂 I’m basically telling them to fix the car good before you sell them to people make sure you fix. because people go crazy checking the cars. So slow down there Bryan you just saw a clip
Me, I’m that guy, brakes, suspension, axels, checking for leaks, and checking all the fluids, im looking at everything. I’m not picky I just want to know what I’m getting into. it’s not making a big deal out of it? You make yourself sound sketchy. Why wouldn’t you want them to look at everything and make sure they’re not getting scammed by some dude who they don’t know and can’t trust.
@@flippingcarsforfun well unfortunately you cut this short in way that frames you in a bad light. It sounds like you’re complaining about your customers being educated, and insensitive to peoples financial means. A few thousand dollars may mean nothing to you and that’s awesome, really I wish we could all be there but to some people that’s years of saving and that may be the only car they will be able to afford now and for years to come. Really this short did not make you out to be very compassionate person. I know most people flipping cares do care about the impact it makes on their community and I hope you are ones of those
I hope you do quality work because otherwise you’re just badmouthing people that know what they’re doing. Checking a vehicle that has been “flipped” is the basic requirement for anyone with an ounce of sense. Bad head gaskets, leaking coolant into the oil, cracked oil pans, bad engine pressure, wiring that looks like a blind man did it, these are all things I expect to see on a car that’s been worked on by someone looking to make a quick buck. They usually don’t care if the cars in good shape even five miles down the road after they sold it.
Yeah me, im the guy. I meet at my buddies shop and put it on a lift and do a full inspection on it like it was a semi that came into my shop. Some flippers are shiesty as shit
Removing coil packs is actually not bad idea if your valve cover is leaking you may wash the engine on the outside but inside where coils are oil can collect and create misfires and if you are paying a shop to replace it its not that cheap of a job
As a person who has fixed a few of these cars that have been fixed up or worked over by a "car flipper" . I can honestly say your best move is to pay a local shop to inspect the vehicle, and do a full tune up/fluid change. Best way to find any issues that may have been covered up, or "fixed up enough to keep a healthy profit." Even if you ,"know alot about cars" a second opinion for a 💯 is well worth it for a car that could end up costing you well over 10x that. Also doing a background check on the vehicle and seller is a good idea too, unless the deal is ,"too good". In which case, you might luck out, or you might make a few new friends. 👍
only a fool doesnt look under the car for leaks maybe bc i am a euro guy. i always check for leaks to make sure its not dumpy oil. i always take beauty covers off too
btw y'all project farm did testing on supertech oil and it didn't score bad it's decent oil for daily commuting vehicles. the oil that scored the best was amsoil.
