Came close to trading in my mk8 GTI for a Model 3 performance. Drove it and loved it, lots of tech and FAST AF. Decided to wait for the Model Y refresh to consider it again. Can’t beat their 1.9% APR and 7500 off tax credit.
I have a mk8 40th anniversary edition gti and the auto lights don’t work, whenever set to auto on and the turn signal stock pushed forward the high beams do not automatically dim, can anyone help
you didn’t show off the best part! little known “feature” on the GTI. Spam switch between comfort and sport then leave it in sport, while driving anywhere above 3k rpm, you’ll get a few pops! huge gas waster for me, i love the little pops and burbles!
bro the pink wrap is actually stunning. it goes way harder than i could ever expect. you absolutely have to get some solid white wheels next. the euro clear tail lights would look great as well. any kind of white accent is going to pop on that. a subtle white stripe along the side, color blocking out the pillars and roof in white, or even color blocking out the rear panels (which i usually hate) would go crazy. i'm a 34 year old straight man and i would absolutely barbie the fuck out over this btw

When my big bro was driving my grandpa's car to fetch my mom at the work then now he was in an accident now a few months later my mom brought my grandpa this car and when he drives it to church and my brother drives to fetch my mommy and when we go to other places, everyone is like looking at my grandpa's new car and maybe they are completely confused that how is that grandpa driving a fast car when it's for young tean/young adults and like bro that time at church when my grandpa out he saw the people plus the passter all around the car and praying almost like they want it lol (Btw sorry for the long comment)
Has anyone experienced their front driver side & passenger side windows seem Very tight? Like maing obnoxious squeaking noises, when adjusting the windows?

Avoid products that will experience constant load duties (only OEM or better) especially for prefab aesthetic stuff for 50-60% less than shop $ (that wing is sik, but is it worth 2 full lip kits+1 Spoiler?! looks great so far. ive got a 22 moonstone se and waiting to install my downpipe, intercooler and pmax turbo so i can be stage 3. Def going to be getting those alzor wheels they look so good.
why? they have self healing wraps that last 10+ years. Easy to maintain and still cheaper than a great paintjob. I've had bad experiences with paint shops even when I paid alot of money.
