That was our first square baler it worked pretty good except if push it it would kick out flake bale's. Never seen that before.

For those who weren't sure, the rake is a New Idea, not a Deere. We have one like it, it did good work till the drive gear broke, never used it to tedder. Always felt the less you stir the hay the less leaf shatter you get, but we mainly raise Alfalfa hay, on grass hay maybe the tedder option would be ok. I do have a Deere rake of that vintage, it does very good work as well, It likely will out last me.
