These are great for a smooth concrete floor but throw any gravel or asphalt into the mix and these bad boys just dig in and wont budge!! They should look at doing some with some supper chunky wheels that can spread the load and maybe even go over chippings or scalpings... just a thought

I stumbled across this video because a local guy is selling 4 of the vector jacks but they're the hydrolic versions.

Good part about the sunnex being 2 piece on the cross bars is that if they gent bent you can replace those. I drive a flat bed tow truck and I've seen guys bend these up and you'd need some serious work to straighten them back out and even then they still wouldn't be as strong as they were originally. I have actual go jacks on my truck and mine were decent but I traded the guy that drives the snatcher because he had bent his up some pulling out really heavy trucks.

I would go with the real go jacks one's the one's you have now you could use them for changing tires on your car so you wouldn't have struggle lifting the tire easy off easy on

What a pity you didn't upload the "next video". I'm very interested in your results. Did you happen to complete it, and upload it to another platform that I can go to, to see, please?

Tried the sunnex and I couldn’t move my car on an asphalt driveway. Interested in whether vevor works as sunnex was just wide enough.

The machining isn't the problem.the paint or powder coat is affected by gravity that's why it's tight on the top and doesn't fit in the bottom you can see the extra paint in the hole

You have any bass tabs for this piece? Also I have the same Scorpion 8 that you do back on the wall. China correct?
@curly437
@curly437 2 года назад
No tabs. Just learn by watching many different videos. The Scorpion copy is cool but sounds not so good. Just weak and plain sounding. Have you done anything to make it sound better and more powerful?

Looks like it was a hell of a lot of fun to play (both the song and the bass). Lake was a beast, doing all of this and the vocals flawlessly.

Hey Curly, I'm considering the S15. Can you give me an idea of what sub you'd compare this to? I'd be using for home theater; would you recommend? Thanks
@curly437
@curly437 3 года назад
It is freaking amazing, first off. Compared to several other home theater setups in friends home, the bass is so much better. But I don't really have an understanding of what they have as far as entire systems. I use mine a lot harder than a home theater. As a system to play my instruments to aka loud. Sadly the video shows what happens on an open floor. Since, it sits atop a solid metal surface and it has hard foam sandwiched between it and the wall. In a nutshell....I love it. Some stuff sounds unlike I've ever heard before. Look up Z Reviews on this, it sold me.

Did you buy it when Jim was at the Cambridge Music Center or when he had his own workshop (I think it was in Lexington)? Winding the clock back (more years than I care to recognize!) I remember seeing Chris Squire play that ‘Gumby’ shaped guitar… and then meeting the man who made it at the Cambridge Music Center when he had a bench on the third floor of the building.
@jlarrybrewer1149
@jlarrybrewer1149 3 года назад
@@oiramsq73 I had contacted Jim about 20 years ago looking for a CS-74. A guy had brought one in to have Jim restore it. Some idiot had taken out the neck pickup and hacked a huge hole to put a Bartolini humbucker in and had put gold hardware on. Jim had restored it with original Barden pickups and original hardware but the guy who dropped it off didn't have the money to pay for it so Jim called me up and asked if I was interested in paying off the repair bill and buying the bass from the original guy. I of course said yes and I've had it every since. I never got to meet Jim in person but I talked to him over the phone a lot before he passed
@oiramsq73
@oiramsq73 3 года назад
@@jlarrybrewer1149 … why would someone change that guitar around? I mean - did Chris Squire ever have a hard time being heard? (No) So why jazz up the pickups? Well, his loss was your gain. Play it in good health.

It was Phillip Dodds from ARP Instruments playing the thing, but it was an ARP 2500, not a GX-1. Perhaps they just used the speaker cabinets? There's a photo floating around the internet which shows the ARP logo at the base of the system as the crew was setting it up.
