Hi Marchetty. thank you for the video, it was of much help. How to calculate running totals if there are some other columns e.g. State and Product Type. You want the running totals to calculate based on those variables as well. so it keep filtering "State" column and "Prodcut Type" column with the "Date" column. Hope I made my point. Thanks in advance and would be really good if you can make a video for this type of situation. here is an example: Date State Product Type Sale 25/7/24 ABC Pepsi $10 24/7/24 DEF Coke $15 23/7/24 ABC Pepsi $20 22/7/24 ABC Coke $10
Mean value is Static not Dynamic one, Mean value always changes based on sales data increase. I tried measure in place of 300 but it's not working. Is there any solution for that?
The video has a lot of useful info but is unclear on the Replace Key purpose. Is that section necessary if a user only wants to add a key? Or, is it just a second section which shows a separate process of how to replace a key. Also, the pace of the video is way too fast. In order to try to replicate the steps I have to continue to pause the video and rewind.
@@shitaldesai9139 I hope you are looking for the query as below. The output will be only one row as per data shown where the employee name is Antony. select * from Employee where salary < (select salary from employee where EmpName = 'John') and salary > (select salary from employee where EmpName = 'Donald')
bro u have taken the example(scenario) of ALL() function for explaining ALLCROSSFILTER(), ALLCROSSFILTER () does the the work of ALL() but what next ?.... that's the actual difference u are saying the similarities not the difference between ALLCROSSFILTER() and ALL()....LOL
THANK YOU!! I've been trying to implement this for 2 hours and none of the solutions other websites/videos provided were working for me. Thanks for the video and the explanation!!
I have used the below query to get the same result. = Table.AddColumn(Table.TransformColumnTypes(Table.FromRecords({ [Column1 = "Apple", Column2 = "Banana"], [Column1 = "Apple", Column2 = "Apple"], [Column1 = "Banana", Column2 = "Banana"] }), {{"Column1", type text}, {"Column2", type text}}), "Comparison", each [Column1] = [Column2], type text) Here is one drawback of the above code, if the cases are not the same, it won't return the correct answer. looking for the formula to convert the cases {lower or upper} to match the columns without error. By the way, just started to watch your videos at 1.5x speed and really enjoy the way you are explaining things. I am new to PQ. Keep up the good work. you will soon be recognized.
Thank you for this video. It got me 90% of the way there. Is there a way to also have a option where it says “all ___ selected” if they select all values? Right now if the slicer has all values selected it says “blank”
