For those wondering, The temperature reading fluctuates because metal has low emissivity which means an infrared thermometer cannot "see" the temperature being emitted from metals. If you coat/paint the surface of metal with a black plastic (like electrical tape for lower temp applications), the metal will reveal its true surface temperature to an IR thermometer.

This is very good, but there is a better way. You need about 4 inches between the filter and the lower pan. Top filter should be bigger but still fit the lower pan. You can also use cheap puppy filters in between and just roll up the pee every 2 days and have a lot less smell. Add baking soda where needed.

You didn’t listen to Jackson galaxy very well ,he said use no scented litter ! There’s nothing wrong with using unscented scoopable litter either another days you have to use a litter box for every cat 😂 I have had cats alot longer then Jackson galaxy and guess what I had a multible cat house hold and rescued and re homed cats never had one problem with any cats I took in or my own personal cats ! Why cos I kept the litter box cleaned 😂 most of you are lazy and your litter boxes don’t get cleaned in days! You use scented litter cos you think it works on keeping the smell gone! It doesn’t ! 😂 Jackson gaxay is wrong about alot of things ! Cats aren’t the problem people are !

I fix the occasional (ok, ok. Frequent) hole in my PVC inflatable dinghy. The instructions on the glue just said to apply to both pieces, wait and press together. But online I found instructions to apply to both pieces, wait minimum 15 minutes, apply again to both pieces, wait another 15 minutes, then heat both with heat gun and THEN press together. For 3 days. That made a huge difference for me.

Seems like a dumb question because inflatable paddle boards are made to hit rocks but are cat claws a risk or have hard boards.

I get litter from the $1 tree. One bag is 5 pounds. I use about 20lb a week so I spend $5 a week. This lasts about a week and a half. This is a cool idea but I don’t like scooping or interacting with the waste. I line the litter box with a bag and I change the bag 2-3 times a day with fresh litter. I don’t like smells and I don’t like poop. Im a new cat mom so I might have to get used to this thing but so far it’s worked . I will try wood pellets as well. Would be cheaper overall

I got the same thing on Amazon and love it. I chucked the mattresses that I could off to the curb. Anything to take up less space and not have to clean. Buying sheets, flex sheets, covers, pillows, every 6 months was an awful chore. Sleeping on it or resting on it is nice! I know I'm sleeping better because I'm actually dreaming for first time in months.

I train my cats to be housebroken. Our yard has cat proofing around the top of the fence. I know this isn’t feasible for everyone. But if you give them the option, I’ve found that they always have preferred to do their business outside vs in a box. That said, before I switched to this I used crystal cat litter and washed it. There’s a video on RU-vid about how to do it. Might be off putting to some and also not feasible probably if you don’t have a yard/water hose access. But it’s nice to have options!
