Correa was looking for anlong term deal if the amount was over 300 mil. Now he got a good pay per year and can opt after the 2nd season. Which put him at 29 years old to test the FA market again, and if his # are good, and he stays healthy, he can get another 7 years and 250+ million.

Joe Mays was so brilliant that year. I remember seeing him pitch against Pedro and the Red Sox at the Dome and he matched him pitch for pitch. Twins ended up winning that game. Ironically enough I think Ortiz hit a homer against the Sox. I want to say this happened in 2002 though.
The batting cages by me, their fast ball Cage, I believe is 75 or 80 mph. It’s not so much the speed of the pitch as it is getting your timing down as to win to swing. Once you have that down, you can probably hit every ball unless it’s pitched in an odd location. I would love to try this. If I ever get there, I will.
I'm a catcher for a men's rec league and I learned myself how to catch pitchers that throw 80-85 caught 90 a few times but always wanted to catch 100 mph pitcher hope to cross that off my bucketlist someday
