Making nice is also a good practice in everyday life. Nobody deserves to be exposed to our bad days, and as Sarah said, making nice usually helps a person get out of whatever is on their mind at the time.
I hated the sound of that Fishman, I think it sounded hard with an unpleasant highend. You should really try a line array one day, I changed to EV Evolve 30M and it is brilliant in every way
@@EnmandsBand1 so this video isn’t an accurate way of having someone hear the sound of the fishman. The audio was taken at a loud restraunt live and then mixed to the best of my ability to cancel out more crowd noise. I suggest someone checkout some fishman loudbox reviews on RU-vid for a better representation. Would be curious to check out the EV Evolve though! Always good to know more brands
@@SarahRogo sorry I should have been more clear. I have played solo gigs with the Fishman and did not like the hard sound of it. I changed to an LD Maui 5 which sounded much better to my ears and now the EV Evolve 30M
@@carltonecho3 that’s my song! I analyze it in this video! It’s called end of the world you can just search Sarah rogo end of the world where ever you listen to music
Thank you for this video, really recognise the authenticity -- I *love* the tip about the handcart -- been playing in England for decades and somehow never thought of this, thank you so much! 🙂
Not to take away from this great video with good tips. They have a pedal to add drums looping nowadays obviously its preference and I have my scanner codes for tip
I just started messing around with open tuning. I've only tried open A so far and am eager to dive deeper. I appreciate that you combine both songwriting with alternate tunings. Thank you.
Really good video! Been playing gigs 50 years. I wouldn’t use a Fishman, get a Bose S1 pro, folks! Super lightweight, sounds great, battery lasts eight hours when it’s charged up, not too expensive either. Also, take 15 minute breaks, 10 is barely long enough to tune up. I usually take 20 minute breaks and no one has complained yet. One more thing - stand when you play, sitting down is low energy and you can’t sing as well with your innards all compressed like that.
@@SarahRogo Hi there again. No, not Nationals. The other cheaper ones. Lol I’ll get a cheap ass Fender or Gold Tone. That’ll suit me. Thanks! You play so well, btw.
Love how you play and the sound you get one ov my favourite wen you coming England give more lessons just learning side watched loads of your videos your inspiring ❤
No, I don’t. That is up to the venue to pay. Most of the time they kind of just fly under the radar and don’t pay it, some places do, and some places don’t pay it and request. You only play original music. (Which negates the point because my music is on ascap)
