I've been coding since 1981. I have created hundreds of online games for blue chip clients including the BBC, Johnson and Johnson, Mars Corporation and Deliotte. Most games used either Flash or real-time 3D. I still use Adobe Animate, previously Adobe Flash, to create HTML5 games. On the 3D side I use Unity and the WebGL library Three.JS. Take a look at my blog at niklever.com.
Since 2018 I have been developing courses on the Udemy platform. Get the full courses using the links at niklever.com/courses/
You'd be surprised at how users need some of the less well known features explaining in detail. The course has 550 students and a 4.7 rating out of 5. So it helps many who choose to take it. www.udemy.com/course/model-viewer/?referralCode=65824E9F442641E16EBA
I checked how it runs, very good job thought I expect some sort of registration login type game... could You make a version of this game that requires login/registration? Purely nodejs app.
I'm building a furniture website in Next.js and want to integrate Unity AR functionality. Is it possible to enable a preview mode on the website where clicking a button opens the phone camera and displays the AR feature from Unity?
Hi Nik, thanks for this course! I meet a problem when trying this ThreeJS Editor which is under version r163 currently. I cannot find the play menu in the editor`s toolbar. Is it removed or moved to other places? 🤔
Hii, i just encountered your video while i was looking for something. Actually i have a project to be done for academics which is a jewellery application/website and i need to make AR integration where they can try on the jewellery, can u help me out in this please??
How would you manage monetization uploading a PWA to the Oculus Store? Is it possible to sell it trough a one time purchase? Do somebody know or have experience with PWA in the Oculus Store?
You might be right :/, Google suggest this for PWAs in the Play Sore: "While given the option to make your app free or paid, the PWA you bundle for inclusion in Play must be available to the wider Internet in order to work, and there is no way to reliably detect that a user is accessing it from your app instead of from their browser or another installation method. As such, we recommend you monetize your PWA through means other than charging to download it from the store." @@NikLever
is it possible to pack the web app entirely in the apk? not just the "link" somehow, i want the app to work offline as well. If so, could you make a tutorial for it? i'm really not used to pwa and it makes me mad.
could you make a full tutorial@@NikLever my personnal goal: an ar/vr procedural modeling tool, eventually with support for webgpu, that must install through an app like every other modelling app. and work offline like any other modelling app. is my goal achievable with that or i go in a wall?
Nice playlist! But in my country (Austria) it says: "2 unavailable videos are hidden". Is that on purpose? Or only in my country? Any chance you can unlock them? Thank you! 🙂
@@shashankarya5406 modelviewer.dev/examples/animation/#controlSpeed does this give you enough to get it working. You will need to add a little code. You can't do it just with attributes.
Hi, check out my courses at niklever.com/courses. I'd recommend my free beginners introduction to ThreeJS, The Three.JS Primer. If you're new to JavaScript then do my free course JavaScript in 12:Easy Lessons. Once you're up to speed on JavaScript and ThreeJS take my ThreeJS WebXR course. Good luck with your studies.
If you haven't got git installed then follow this guide git-scm.com/book/en/v2/Getting-Started-Installing-Git. Or go to the resources link in the description, press the green Code button and choose Download zip.
