after playing the german version myself on PS3, i have a feeling Saints Row 2 was not playtested to see how these changes would affect gameplay. some of the infinite ammo perks are cut because you need to complete activities like Fuzz which in itself was removed too. the Annihilator RPG is impossible to unlock without cheats due to Mayhem being cut. the TVs in your crib say you can play Zombie Uprising, yet that game was also removed and interacting with the TV only gives you the option to view cutscenes.
Imagine, it's 2008, you just got home from a long day at work, but excited you can finally play Saints Row 2, you put it in, boot up the game, and see how great it looks, much better then the first, you play until this comes up 0:07, if I was German and it showed this bs? I would want my money back.
This was funny, took me 6 months to find again, the level triggers need a landmark, both named the same in both levels, and the trigger needs to be in both maps pointing to the map it would transition to, throw it into a box out of bounds
Haven't thought about these videos in YEARS! Talk about a blast from the past! (The ending song for the credits is how I actually discovered Borderlands, BACK when it was niche)
Im pretty sure this animation (and Borderlands 1) are the reason DJ Champion's "No Heaven" became one of, if not _THE_ most popular song DJ Champion has released.
The jump in graphics and draw distance from the PS2 to the PS3 is extraordinary. Neither PS4 nor PS5 has made that jump but VI will going from a PS3 to a PS5. Add the more technical point of view on top of that and the jump will feel like GTA 2 to 3 on steroids.
