Please remember the following text: "EU" stands for the European Union. When the EU was created, EMI stopped producing vinyl. Manufacturing within the EU is largely concentrated in Germany. By law, everything has to be made in the EU. However, for some reason, they decided to label Beatles albums as "made in Germany" instead of "made in the EU", probably because the "made in Germany" label has a better reputation and will create more sales. You forgot to mention that these vinyls are made of real vinyl.
That's the NEW YORK YANKEES, not the Mets. I have two copies of this LP, as well, and I don't know why, lol. Is this considered Classic Rock or Pop/Rock?
Mick Jones?, lol!.....Only the monarch pressing has value to a true audiophile ,It was cut hot and monarch pressing was the only one who tame distortions. This lp was meant to play loud.
This was from a long time ago, and I guess 15-year-old me believed that because Ann and Nancy were both both in San Diego, that means that they were a California band. Fun times.
Very nice! Like you, I was searching everywhere for this album but I can't find it. However, I did run across one on eBay that was pressed in 1984 and still in the original seal. I just threw it on the turntable and although there's a little bit of a warp, it plays fine.
i'm glad you showed all the things you did. i thought i got a bootleg copy or something. The first thing for me was the scraping of the numbers. i thought it was a fake copy. then the sleeves' 'hole' is only die cut on one side. and finally the grooves just looked "weak". in other words, this video reassured me, tks, 😄
How is it a reissue? Capitol deleted their Beatles US catalog in the late 1980s and replaced them with the original UK LPs the only reissue they did of the Capitol albums was on CD
I own both of the Tom Petty vinyl box-sets that were released after his death. Of course the original Wildflowers album is included, however, I also picked up the 3 lp set - Wildflowers and all the rest, and I just ordered this gold 2lp set (alternate versions) to add to my collection.
This is one of the most common albums of all time. I see it all the time for about €10,00. Bought my copy for a fiver, but I couldn't get into this album. Kind of boring if you ask me
Have 2 correct u. Humble Pie drummer Jerry Shirley played drums on it. Cy Langston played guitar. Keith, Viv Stanshell & Neil Innes only played percussion in the end of No. 29 (External Youth) & Keith & Neil also added sum backing vocals. This is my all time favorite album ever. Actually have a Decca label cassette. The Who is my favorite band.
that is a bootleg as no official release of the album vinyl only on CD in 2014. Also the music is in Mono on the record although the cover says stereo. It was also a very poor reproduction of the cover another "reproduction" that was made in Japan in the late 1980's so it is very dark. There are much better copies available for around 24-49 $ in mono cover.
