Are they suitable for carpet lined sliding door for VWT25 transporter? I need to reattach a carpet lined door panel which was screwed in to the door via plugs and had screw caps to conceal the screw heads. The existing plugs within the holes have fallen down inside the metal door panel, I am not sure what I need to replace them. I would be very grateful for advice on what raw plugs to use.
Hi Joe, Thank you for your enquiry. The white inserts will fit holes between 8mm or 9mm in diameter. If needed we can supply just the inserts. As long as the inserts hold into the holes then our screws at 25mm would usually be suitable for all carpet lined panels. Should you have any further questions, please email gallant@hotmail.co.uk for a quick reply. With kind regards Pete
This is the most simple and helpful video. The instructions that came with had photos but really rubbish and confusing but this video made it nice and easy. Thank you very much.
I found these to be the best quality Tambour shower doors made from ABS plastic not cheap PVC that fades and squeaks www.ebay.co.uk/itm/-Tambour-Door-Kit-Shower-Bathroom-Campervan-STRONG-ABS-PLASTIC-4-xColours/293768860201?pageci=6de7b788-2a0c-43c2-a5a7-d78a25d677bc
Will you be selling the T4 cab black out blinds again? Currently using the silver screens but they leave sucker marks on the glass, these look fantastic and the use of magnets is a great idea.
Have recently purchased a set of these for my T6, the fitting is very easy giving great results, mine are grey inside and black on the outside ( purchased as grey) looking at the vehicle from outside when fitted it is hard to tell there's anything in the Windows at all, Lovely material and best of all the weather doesn't matter so much, as easily fitted without the need to step outside at all also no wet blinds to store.
Good morning Thank you for your enquiry and sorry for the late reply. I usually suggest the cut out in the panel is 30mm smaller than the door size both ways, so in this case 570mm x 470mm. We do however make all our doors to order so if you require one of a different size, please let me know. With kindest regards Pete
Hi Dave Thank you for your enquiry. You do not need to remove anything. The poppers are screwed into the plastic trim with the supplied screws. The position of the poppers are detailed in the fitting instructions. Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Kind regards Pete
@@gallantcampersolutions So, you just screw them directly in (sorry if I'm being a bit thick). Do you have to be careful when un-popping? Sorry for the questions, we currently have a blackout cover for our T6, but we'd rather have something internal - and I want to get the right thing.
Hi Dave No problem at all with the questions. Yes they are screwed into the plastic. It is worth taking care to remove the blind from the poppers. I have had mine fitted to my T5 for over 4 years without any problems. Also please see the link below to our fitting instructions on the website. www.gallantuk.com/storepage3611527.aspx You are very welcome to phone if you prefer on 01793 882353 Many thanks and kind regards Pete

Wow, this works so well! And its a light and simple design. Is it possible to buy one from Los Angeles, CA, USA? I want to install an aluminum tambour door on one of my RV camper cabinets where a lift up door is in the way. This will be for the kitchen area, which houses the small microwave. I would love to get this model tambour door cut to size. Please let me know how much they cost for the sample size you installed.
+Lass-in Angeles Hi Thank you for your enquiry If you would be kind enough to let me know your full postal address and your requirements, I will see if I can get a price for delivery for you.
