@Tutorial_Simple The drop-down menu for the physics section didn't show up because I'm using a different version of Blender. I had to click on a checkbox labeled advanced, which was underneath the tab called hair to see the physics section with the drop-down menu.
im using blender 3.6, I did all like this video, but in render cycles doesn't appear nothing =S even in viewport cycles preview, only in material view I can see the particles.

I am working on blender 4.0 and nothing nothing happened after quick effect is added, i checked all the settings and the smoke domain is in place, but wont work in eevee.
ok, i kind of get it working, so i hv to apply scale to the domain or it kind of not working as expected, weird is that usually resizing in edit mode it supposed to not affect the scale.
At 0:53 your entire layout changes and suddenly have all these nodes but you don't explain how you changed the screen or how you created the nodes. I'm very much a beginner at this and find it frustrating that a video titled "beginner" and "easy" is neither of those things.
at 0:53 seconds there is an add button, then select search . then follow the nodes in the video. if you have other questions please comment again later I will help

Very nice ! Why did you add a subdivision surface modifier to the domain ? Does it work really ? So you can increase the resolution after the simulation has been baked ?
