Absolute fantastic music from one of the greatest bands to come out of Scotland, and still going strong. Long live Colorado.

Happy memories of these fab lads , when they played at the C&W Club in the Fulbar Inn in Paisley and various other venues round about . UK's top C&W band for 9 years running .They even joined a few of us at a club in Skegness after they had been on stage most of the night , they were grand company also. We were so sorry when they disbanded , but could understand after being on the road for so long , but I'm sure their families were happy. So happy that Geordie and his boys returned with a new group , i havent seen them , but i follow them and i wish them every success for the future

geordie on lead vocals, davy duff at his best harmonsing, what a voice he had, sadly never met him.

the late great Gordy Davidson on lead guitar, he never really got the recognition he deserved, hope we meet again gordy, on the square.

I haven’t heard the name Gordy in a long while, though I have a cousin named Gordy. Last time I saw him we were young in the 1960’s.

I’m from Grantown on Spey and I grew up listening to Colorado and Caledonia thanks to my Dad, Alistair McKenzie. He fondly talked of the times he met Geordie and I think even played on the same bill one time. He was singer and guitarist in Grantown band Catmelodeon. He loved his music and played and sang until his final days, with a few Colorado numbers thrown in for good measure. He sadly passed on June 4th 2021 and leaves a huge hole in not only my family’s hearts, but in the Spey Valley which he gigged non-stop for years. Thank you for posting these videos, great memories,. Duncan x

I've just seen this version, no no no, if you can't do it properly then don't do it,, it's a total slight on the honor of the fallen if you can't use the correct lyrics, a shambles,

Is this 1980? I first saw this rendition on the full length set which used to be on RU-vid, alongwith songs by Maggie Moone, Madeline Taylor, Alyson McInnes and Drew Ross. Roger Whittaker also sang . It was dated 1983 and called "The Football Years". It was the same performance as this, with the same introduction. 1980 or 1983? I'd love to see the whole thing again, if anyone has it. Either Drew or Roger sang The Gambler.

One of Scotland's best bands ,seem them many times ,very professional outfit excellent harmony singing . Davey Duff very sadly missed. As good as Statler brothers in my opinion.
