His is factory from Japan(obvi) & wouldn’t start recently & it ended up being a bad ground connection goin to his “igniter” smh. I would have never thought but he tested the voltage for it with a voltage meter & sure enough it wasn’t gettin power. He ran a whole new ground wire to the igniter & shit fkn rips now. Crazy story ik lol but figured it may help somehow. Good luck bro 🤙
Thomas was very helpful also he was my advocate, shout out to Pedro at SB Subaru service department he was cool and verified my car was completely stock. Factory employee told Pedro Flat out they paid me for 1 engine so they won’t pay or help with the not 2 but 3rd blown STOCK engine 2019 STi.
Subaru of Riverside (DCH) did something similar. Stock STi no tune, no engine mods, no exhaust and they denied my warranty. Eid and cvn all matched no tune ever and SOA still denied my warranty

Ik how you feel but it looks like ur just winging it bro it sound like it could be low compression ( bad head gasket ), bad fuel, or something to do with the air flow, could also be coil packs so if you really dont know your best bet is to not dump all ur money into it and GET IT TO A SHOP itll be way cheaper then buying random parts you dont know whats going to fix it...
You can modify your exhaust as long as it does not exceed 95 deibels.... which is stock hahaha look at my golf I got state reffed, and i went 100% stock and passed at 90 db.....
Buy a Kyoto Radiator, and an Oil Cooler and those temps will go down my guy. Cut the fog light bezels and fenders out with a dremel and you’ll increase air flow through the car by a lot. Put the time into it and it’ll turn out fine.
I had ceramic tint installed on all my wrx windows. Including the windshield. Windshield is clear ceramic tint. Really makes cooling the interior much easier in the summer. I live in south Texas and 100+ degrees is not uncommon but I keep cool in my ride.
