Not sure about direct buses but you can go to angamaly town by train. From there it is 1 hour road journey. You can take taxi from there and reach Athirapally falls.

Glad you liked the video 😊. Online ticketing system is little changed now, only boating and entry tickets are included if you book online. You can get bus tickets directly at the counter (Just tell them your boating & entrance ticket is already booked). Also, you can call at their office (+91 8547 603 066) and ask them if you still have any doubts.

If I stay in Bamboo Grove in Periyar Tiger Reserve accomodation of Forest Department,then will we have to buy tickets for boating? Or it is complimentary??
