It wasn't so many years ago, that I knew actually Nothing about a so called "friend zone". I never even thought that there ever was such a thing, so I continued on be a friend to my female friend's, i later found out that they are okay about it, just being a so called friend!

These are all college kids. maybe its possible for men and women to be just platonic friends when people get older or in midlife. Ive had alot of male platonic friends and currently have had one for over 10 years plus. And why shouldnt it be possible if 2 people do not find each other physically attractive to be friends?

This is depressing, I lost all my guy friends and none of them were attracted to me but i was attracted to one and I ruined a good thing. I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death. I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse. Also, you are more likely be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse. People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.
I drove a married women home from a cocktail party years ago and we texted many times and then she wanted to have dinner with me. But her behaivor was more like a girlfriend towards me. She denied it and said thats her quirky personality. RIGHT Then when I cut it off she stalked me for like 3 years not understanding why I stopped talking to her. Women live by different rules of what is friendship.
People are so ridiculous to think that friends can't find each other attractive. Grow the hell up. Notice how it's mostly men saying they can't. Maybe this is related to how they often don't learn to have intimacy with other men, unlike women. Not sure.

guys and girls can be friends,,, It's not impossible... You saw in the video, that some people said that they have a best friend from the opposite gender that they're NOT attracted to, the person is just their friend or best friend. It's annoying how people take such beautiful friendships for granted
