Hookup Baits calls San Diego, CA, home where we design and manufacture the Original Hookup Baits. With over 40 years of fishing experience, the Owners decided to combine their love of fishing and "designed a bait that would change the fishing industry." These baits have (4) patents and are very unique as they are effective in getting bit on the glide down as well as jigging it back to the surface and can be casted, retrieved and used when trolling. The baits are designed for freshwater and saltwater fishing and are available in a variety of colors and sizes from 1/32 oz to 6 oz. The design makes it easy to use for young anglers, woman, new or for the advanced tournament fisherman to use.
Anyone can learn to catch any fish that swims with these amazing Baits. And that is what this channel is all about.
Awesome video! How'd you set up the double rig? Cut double dropper loop? Heading up there for the opener in a few weeks to fish those big Cutthroats! You answe
@JIMMYG-i1m ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_YD957g7FwQ.htmlsi=FsrOjUPn4i7RkCQP Check this video out. I have spot lock on my kayak. Alot of what I do here is what I also do on my boat.
i fished swimbaits all day in mission bay for spotties and nothing. I had an old hookup bait 1/4 oz and bam 4 spotties in 30 minutes. this stuff works idk
When you work the bait looks like a crayfish mooving backwards. Maybe if you guys can a make a freshwater crayfish version it will catch a lot of bass. For real
@donaldstephensen8654 the new Ice has been good for everything lately. The big lingcod on the trip came on the 1.5 squid. The Mint & Sardine always produces
Sickk! Saw your homie hookup right after I met you. Thanks for the tips on rigging the double with a heavier one. Nice meeting you out there bro, keep up the great work!- Trent
Thank you Chad!!!! What an amazing day of catching large rainbow trout. I do have two questions for you. 1. last year when for fished Klamath Lake, I believe about the same time of year you fished from your kayak and this year from a boat. What are the main advantages and disadvantages of each? 2. Is it a catch and release only lake? If not, do you know if these rainbow make good table fare?
@stevenewburn8700 advantage boat. the trolling motor on the boat with spot lock was very useful. Con. Had to cast further from the boat, they seemed more spooked by the boat over the kayak. Both were great. As long as there's no wind the kayak is better.
@stevenewburn8700 there is a limit of 1 trout I believe. I have heard these trout aren't as good as trout from other lakes. Trout are always catch and release for me.
Great video. looking forward to more instructionals. I always want to fish moreHUBs but can never get the confidence when fishing the weeds with it. Just dont know what to do there. Throwing at pilings or slips works for me but the eel grass, zero clue.
I made the video!! Thanks Chad . Always enjoy competing with you 🙌 thanks for sharing all your knowledge with the spotty community and making a bait that's easy to fish and gets BIT!!!
@brianlikestofish4227 from one spotty master to another. It's always a great time competing against you. Guys like you are what makes me learn and try harder. So, thanks for that. 👍🤙
Thanks for sharing the knowledge Chad. I’m not looking to compete, just bust the week’s stress over the weekends. Appreciate the help- I rarely skunk now in the bay. Thanks.
