Welcome to my channel! I'm Mark, I'm in the Air Force. My passion is hunting and renovating. I enjoy doing a wide variety of things, from saddle hunting, to DIY projects! I use my RU-vid channel to review products (good and bad), tell my hunting season stories, and document renovations I've tackled through the years. I mainly bow hunt and my main focus is on bowhunting whitetails. I want to make an online video series that focuses on relating to all groups of hunters. By deer hunting in a variety of different situations that will try to teach viewers different strategies for harvesting game.

Ive. been hunting on and off for years. and a few years ago when I was in the woods a. lot. I tried so many different calls and honestly none have ever helped, how I got. most of my deer was in a tree stand, sent eliminator and staying motionless. for hours (my Rivers Edge tree. stand was that comfortable)
I had a smaller version of this cylinder stove in my camper with the stovepipe run out through the skylight. It worked much better in a Maine winter than the propane furnace. My buddy later used the stove at his place with the stovepipe running out through a window. They are good little stoves and not difficult to move.
I hunt with a hand made re-curve bow and shoot in traditional bow league. Guides in Col hate fancy compounds with gadgets like lasers, a buddy missed with one because the laser light was not on so missed a shot. He was royally chewed up my the Elk guide to the point he has not shot a compound since and went back to re-curve. I mean at some point you may as well just buy the meat at the market and give up if you make it too easy. Like shooting fish in a barrel.
Nice video. I can honestly say i don’t know what i would’ve done if I was in your shoes. I do know I think i would put up one of those trail/security cameras they have out there now. I think it would be great for you. Good luck
Not sure why you chose to cut so much off the bottom and screw up the panels, when you could have cut some off the top and the bottom and had a much better result
@cantcomeupwithausern you bring up a great point. Once we installed it, we realized how short the handles were. If I were to go back I'd do it the way you suggested.
I do not own any, so I could not reliably endorse any of the products, but I pretty much feel at this point in the game all of them work pretty damn well.
@@Markofalltrades OK you’re probably a nicer feller than I am, but here’s my idea. Harbor freight sells a driveway alarm that has a beam sensor for about 10 bucks. I’m thinking you rig that to a potato cannon loaded with rocksalt aimed about waist high. I don’t think there would be any liability for you. If this was inside a locked shed and I guarantee you it would be the last time he tried to get into your shed ,I’m just saying. Love those with love in their heart and damn the rest.
I've had places broken into and since then I had such a feeling of invasion of privacy. This happened years ago and I never forgot it. Just the feeling that someone you don't know was into your personal belongings is enough to make you quiver. So sad how man treats man. Just sad.
If the thief used a pry bar of some type, that would mean they came prepared and knew what they wanted to steal. Very sorry to hear about this. I hate these type of criminals.
@@Markofalltrades I use Spypoint cell cams. You can get a pair for about 130.00. The cell subscription is 12.00 a month for unlimited picks. They send in real time.
where is your security plan? no cameras, no alarm, no noise making trip lines? you set yourself up for failure. the world is FKed you have to have more security.
@@Dexter7723 LOL didn't mean to sound crazy. but the world is crazy. I do security for a living and see the bad stuff that happens. I wish you well and hope you set yourself up so this doesn't happen again.
Build shutters over your windows that lock on the inside. Cement 2 metal beams on either side of the doors. Fashion a system that a thick metal bar can be slid thru, and a secure lock on the other end
Sorry about your breakin. I know how you feel. This is reason we gave up our summer trailer and boat after breakins. They caught the guys but we just felt so violated and unsafe that we gave up and sold it. As for securing it, nothing will keep crooks out. You have windows in the shed, they would break crawl through them. Maybe some trail cameras would help document any problems that might help. But you did right in filing a police report. It can never hurt.
Maybe leave it unlocked because he would have broken the window or something else! So save yourself some repairs and leave it unlocked maybe also get a camera installed in a tree somewhere to catch him on video! Good luck
