Don’t had big rocks or sticks of the snail has walls he can climb. Of they fall off they’ll crack their shells on the hard wood and rocks also you NEED and I mean absolutely REQUIRE a source of CALCIUM. Cuttlebone or eggshells is good but calcium powder does nothing. They also can’t just eat lettuce and cucumbers. They need protein like sweet potato and UNSALTED and DESHELLED sun flower seeds. Salt and citrus will kill them.
Correct. There shouldn't be any rocks in there and there should be sufficient mulching material above the soil to help absorb the shock of any snail fall

Also I'm pretty sure you have to like keep the dirt that's already in it and just mix it in with some more that's just more new online substrate means the like the grounding should I call it a grounding for like flooring but I don't really know but I think so
Dirt is normally heated to kill any predator eggs that might be in it but if you're sure of the quality of the dirt then no need to treat it. You can just use it as is
