I have so many nitpicks with Outlaws and things I wish they'd done better/included, but overall I can't deny that it's an enjoyable game I had fun with.
I've been playing this game nearly five times a week since the day it released. I have no idea when I will finish, lol. (Xbox series X) In the future I may cross over to PC. Game seems to be PC worthy.

I was disappointed at first to see no sign of Barry but I ultimately thought it was a cool and indirect way of referencing the length of time between the games. Alan’s been gone for 13 years. People have moved on. Bright Falls is a different place now and what happened in the first game is an uncomfortable bit of history, but that’s it, it’s history.
I remember I was 11 years old in 2001 and my grandmother took me to gamestop or Maybe EB games who knows but there were only 2 games I had my eyes on GTA 3 and Max Payne and I had to choose just one I have no clue what made me pick Max Payne till this day but I'm so thankful i did it was so dark and gritty especially at 11 years old till this very day max payne is one of my favorite games ever wish they treated the series a lil better tho i still get urges to play em but steam version so trash id def Drop 60 for a remastered version
I don't have a problem with people critiquing certain character designs, talking about sweet baby inc, and complaining about how forced some changes come across. My problem is that most people like Grummz seem so god damn vicious and disingenuous. If a women has a strong jaw or pores they'll relentlessly attack the game as disgusting horrifying garbage that is trying to destroy morale amongst westerners, while suddenly praising and forgiving a game when it has a pornified bimbo complete with popped hips, dead eyes and horrible duck lips. Grummz LITERALLY did this with the new Monster Hunter -- he saw there was a strong girl and a cute girl with glasses that vaguely looks awkward in some screenshots and started calling it woke, before realizing there was a white blonde woman that looked 'perky' enough to his liking so retracted his tweet. People like this are insecure scum that can't admit they're just coomers looking for incredibly sexualized games. They have to launder their beliefs in this weird idea that they're somehow just 'appreciators of art' and the 'female form' like how Walt Disney appreciated cartoons, or like a Titian painting a healthy bosom passionately. They want to have their cake and eat it too. They want modesty and tradition, but also the porn-habbits that come with the sexual revolution. Just pick a struggle bro lmao stop making the problems of your ressentement against liberal modernity everyone else's problem it's not healthy for you.
I just want the backers to get what they thought were getting, I've seen so many crowdfunded projects promise the world and more and just go down the drain and run away with the money. and given the timeline of dev time and little to show for it, this really starting to give me those same exact vibes.

this game was so frustratingly average that is made me buy Metal gear solid V on PC to actually experience a good stealth shooter... but to each their own. Enjoy it if you really like it.
For me, I just like the open world star wars, never was a fan of Stealth Games, but this makes me wanna get into some Metal Gear Solid, I have only played 3 (I think, PS1?)
If you like the idea of melee stealth, then Ghosts of tsushima and older assasins creed games like AC 1-3 are a must. Metal gear solid 1 -3 are the best and 5 is the most modern but still good.

You know I can't think of any movies or games that even cover World War 1, usually it's all about the sequel lol. A game where we play Jack Marsden, and the first chapter is about World War 1, and then eventually the next chapter is during the age of Prohibition and we start to see the beginnings of real organized crime, and Jack decides to capitalize on that. And Jack witnesses the beginning of the industrial revolution and its consequences, and we see the world change rapidly with new technology and vehicles. That wouldn't just be a major departure from Red Dead, but from video games as a whole. And I think it's something that could be really interesting if done right. I know I'd be really interested in seeing something like that. I mean just imagine how much the world would change in Jack's time, it's not easy to imagine but it would be cool to "live" that in a video game.

I've always wondered why Kern left Blizzard when WoW was exploding in popularity and was hiring like crazy. Nobody has EVER said why, and if it was a friendly separating you'd think someone would have said that, but many several employees said he was a huge pain in the ass to work for and never did any work himself. Instead it feels like there's some kind of NDA around the entire situation as no Blizzard employees have come forward. Have you talked to Nick Callandra yet? He was doing deep dive research into Kern and even got interviews with several former Kern coworkers, but stopped working on his expose video on Kern when Kern's supporters started non stop harassing the guy.
i'm 50/50 on a person judging an experience without playing it themselves. i can understand watching a walkthrough and knowing how much value that experience has to you. but i don't understand people seriously criticizing thing that haven't even been released. i don't understand people that have 15 minutes or less on their playtime and they write a review for something that is much , longer.
