Great video! Never played R1 and just found out about R2 through a random steam sale. Definitely gonna give it a good playthrough and your video helped with that as well.
Its worth mentioning, theres no bundle ot deluxe version. So while the game is $4.99, and all dlc adds up to another $10 While "change in your couch" sounds great. Ive never found $15 in my furniture lol
Mediocre at best the classes could have been so much better. I bought the ultimate as this was the game I wanted most. I was disappointed hugely. The third DLC came out played 10 mins stopped not even bothered with completing it.
Absolutely great game. Just played through the Awakened King DLC on my days off. I have two more DLCs to enjoy! This game will go down as one of my top games of all time. Love the community. I'll be just rocking through a map and some rando will join and make it ten times more fun together. No talking. Just emotes, high fives and perfect gameplay.
In fact, the performance mode works in the range from 720p to 1080p and scales up to 4k. digital foundry. the game looks very blurry of course. and still the fps drops to 40. I think it's better to play in quality mode.
Man if I had some willing ppl to co-op with me to help me do all the puzzles and unlock the hidden archetypes… I’d be motivated to play more. I literally bought EVERYTHING in this game and love it. But no one really EXPLORES the game when they help you. They all just rush through it.
Great video, I’m thinking of doing guides for remnant 2 where I get to the absolute point, no unnecessary talking, just doing what the viewers came for, might not get too many views but it’s the point that it helped somebody. :)
It’s more new player friendly I think it’s hard but it’s doable weather you need a friend or just a random to help or just power level to get to a point where you can take the boss on yourself plus still it’s absolutely beautiful and stands test of time plus the day I met the onion knight I fell in love with it I would be a a knight katarina if I could 😂❤😅😊
Its impressive how little content they added and how they managed to nerf anything fun, ultimatly forcing all players to play the same while not introducing support for the biggest problems in remnant 1 like performance or matchmaking. They even nerfed hard the vanilla game. Great game but poor management of content and they ruined their story🤔
I like the DLCs. Each one added a new class, new story quest lines for each planet, several new weapons, armor sets, many rings and amulets, traits, enemy types. Although I would have liked a return of that true rogue like mode from the first game, the boss rush mode is fun but it's not as good. Armor skins and backpack skins also should have been in the game as well.
I absolutely love from software games and consider them masterpieces but damn remnant 2 ist the most fun game I've ever played and probably will ever play. The devs nailed everything about the game. The customization options are just unbelievable. It's addicting in a way I never felt in a game.
I have been getting more and mor disappointed by fromsoft (starting with DS3 and some elements of bloodborne) but gunslinger and hexworks really give me what I used to love about the souls games. Remnant games are like a fleshed out version of the chalice dungeons but with a dark fairytale world design. Both in Remnant 2 and LOTF I love how deep and considered the gameplay design is Miyazaki has very considered worlds but usually overnerfed gameplay that tends to narrow into a single playstyle, but in Remnant I am constantly making interesting decisions and the buildcrafting is top notch, I constantly keep switching out stuff, not because what I am using isn't working but because I always have another idea I want to try, even after 200+ hours.
£4,99 for one of the best retro style shmup/bullet hell rogue likes money can buy, full of content, lasts longer than most triple AA games, and all teh DLC packs are £7 total...for 4......none more than £1.99 each. ABSOLUTE STEAL OF THE CENTURY THIS GAME.
i busted my ass on release and got alot of the best vanilla gear. even got lucky and had some random ppl i joined help me aquire things i never would of found on my own. 3 weeks ago i logged on and discovered my main character somehow was deleted. and told i was screwed by anyone i talked to about getting it back.
since then everytime i try and play i cant get back into it because it bums me out. i dont remember what i had to do to get alot of my good gear back and its really shitty
@@BlueWallFull4331 first time I'm hearing about that issue. Have you tried contacting them on their socials they are actually pretty responsive. But honestly starting over ain't a big deal, there's so much randomness to each playthrough it'll be a completely different experience. Try out a new build or start as a new class.
I have been playing this game for a few days, already more than 24 hours. Only downside I can see is the lack of voice chat which I think the game really needs. Some adventures need you to do some complex stuff and you cant really know unless someone teaches you, which they cant do through the emotes at all. Also, I think you should be able to return to your world in case the player you joined is afk or any other reason, instead of having to quit to the menu. Other than that, really great game. Tons of weapons, classes and skills to play around with and the worlds dont feel boring when you replay.
Remnant can be a great game. However the clunkyness of it wil always keep people from enjoying it. The story is non existent. The menus, map and controls are awkward and the game has strange balancing issues. As well as it being very unfriendly to solo players. Plus devs who constantly nerf things. Wasted potential
@@kingcurmudgeon8685 i don't find the game clunky at all, movement and shooting feel fantastic. Navigating rings and such is VERY annoying. There should be a filter system. But they have added lots of QOL improvements. And most people I see online enjoy it. What about the controls do you feel is clunky in combat?
Hard disagree. Wild take. One of a few games where I just pick it up and am immediately immersed. Gameplay is perfection. I use a bow with massive damage. Heavy armor with encumbrance jewelry so I can fast roll. Tanky and hit hard.
The phrase "Let's just get right into it" ends at 0:35. Proceeds to not speak again until 1:01. 😂 The intro graphic doesn't need to be nearly 30 seconds long bro. Good video though. Much better than IGN.
@@InvaderShane that's fair, it's just that every second counts, and "dead space" should be limited, on account of dwindling attention spans. lol Advice, not criticism. 🤙
Great Video. Although I have to say I dont have any performance issues while also playing coop on ps5. The only times I had some problems was when connecting to peoples lobbys halfway around the globe. Dont know why that is but it seems that people really have quite varied opinions on the technical side of the game
That's strange, I know most people usually have performance issues in co-op. But hey consider yourself lucky then haha. Considering it's one of the only few issues with the game I don't stress about it too much. 90% of the game is amazing!
Multiplayer runs horribly on ps5 I have decent internet and my ping is t high yet it’s still very stuttery and I can never tell when I’m getting shot at I just die 😂
@@InvaderShane I tell you, with Elden ring I am often enjoying myself and then suddenly not. And I think it comes down to camera stuff.. I don't play a lot of Japanese games or from soft games.. so please forgive me if this is an overbroad generalization.. but has anyone noticed how the camera by default seems to focus on the character instead of where they are looking? Like in Elden ring your character is in the dead center by default, in remnant and other western games I have played the camera is often looking over their right shoulder by default. Giving you a clearer view of where you are targeting. I know Elden ring has a targeting system but it changes your strafe into a semi circle. Anyway, I realize I am probably generating some anger by bringing this up and I want to pre emptively apologize for that. I am sure there are work arounds for this... And it seems like a small thing.. but for me, coming from a non PlayStation background and having limited experience with these games its a barrier for me. That being said I played the game for 70 hours... I explored 3 zones... Unlocked a ton of weapons and magic. So I dunno. Everyone can line up to paddle me now.
I dove into the game about 6 weeks ago and have over 100 hours now. New DLC drops tomorrow and I still haven’t explored everything in the previous two or the main game… TOTALLY worth it
So I havent finished watching the video, but the last time I played was before any of the dlc came out, would you say its alright if I just continue using my old character with my gear, or should I make a new one for the dlcs?
@@gpthree it honestly doesn't matter too much because you can respec your character and reroll the campaign and adventure mode. But if you want a completely fresh start that's understandable too.
@@gpthree it's also worth noting that the DLCs can be played separately when choosing adventure mode. You can then select the DLC you wish to play for a curated experience to see the new content. Otherwise the DLC content will appear mixed in with the base game content.
It is out, when you're on the game page just select the 3 dots and select which edition you want. Or search the game manually in the search bar on the PS store.
So for 4 years when the PS5 hardware was still relevant, they neutered the console, by releasing games for last and next gen. Now when the games are built only for PS5 the hardware is too old. 60fps for 720p resolution?
@@winerzeren7235 if it's garbage then why are you complaining lol just play something else. Why would you wanna continue playing with your current character if it's garbage? Lots of other games out there.
My ps5 has been deep cleaned cleared the cache rebuilt the database turned performance mode on and off and I can barely get through 1 level of operations. Pretty irritating since I bought the game prerelease and season pass only to have then made a game that shits the bed.
I played through the whole campaign with little issues and a majority of the operations during the pre release period and it was mostly solid. But lately when I play co-op missions it feels like it's gotten worse. Idk why that is. Like I said in the video It's most noticeable when in operations when an enemy manages to call in for reinforcements then it gets choppy.
