@Roccorocco892 Yes, it's more on the stiff side and will require some time to get used to it. But I do love the insane amount of power the blade has. Overall, I still find it a pretty good blade.
Hi Winson, I currently use a Provincial W968 bought used at a good price, but since it used, it’s not in the greatest condition. I’m worried of the blade being unusable when it’s time to peel off and replace the rubber. Should the W968 Provicnial be too damaged to glue rubber, is the commercial Hurricane Wang Chuqin a suitable replacement? Is it too different feel from prov w968? It’s pretty expensive for me to buy another prov W968 and it’s far cheaper to buy the WCQ blade for me.
Hi astamak, thanks for the question. Personally, I think the 2 blades are slightly different. Hurricane WCQ feels like it has lesser control but more power. But overall, money and value wise, I think Hurricane wcq is a good alternative just that may take a bit of time to adapt to it.
Good question! Gold tag FZD is much softer. Hence, has superb control but less power as compared to market version. I guess it's because Fzd is physically very strong and don't need rely on the blade to give him powerful shots so his blade is much softer to provide him that superb control.
@@ttpassion Amazing to hear that it’s even softer than the market version. It’s also much lighter than my gold tag Vis (92g). Can’t believe how that guy plays super high quality performance with this racket!
Winson, welcome back and it is great to see your video again. I have a few questions if you don’t mind. I see on the tt11 website that the DHS Hurricane 3 Neo National blue sponge rubber comes in 39, 40, and 41 degree hardness. Which hardness would you recommend choosing? Also, I am curious why you are switching to a wood blade? I remember that you were using carbon blades before. Thanks! 😊
@alternativehermit thanks for leaving a comment and support. The choice of hardness will typically depends on the skill level. The more skillful players usually go for harder sponge so as to have more powerful shots. In contrast, softer sponge allows greater control which is great for less skillful players. For myself, I have tried 39 40 and 41. And 40 felt the most comfortable for me. 39 provides a lot of great feel but felt a little slower than 40. I'm switching to wood blade because I wanted to try out long pimples again for my backhand. I started off learning table tennis with long pimples in the past and just felt I wanted to try something different with the group of friends I'm playing with to see how I fare with a different rubber. So far it has been quite enjoyable so I might stick to Long Pimples for a while. A wood blade would allow me to regain my feel for long pimple faster and I would switch to carbon again once I feel that I'm ready to use long pimples on a carbon blade.
@kimmy877 Haha.. No worries. I'm here just to share my own thoughts and opinion of the equipment. No intention to teach or coach people as I'm definitely not qualified or skilled enough.
@@ttpassion So here lies the problem lo…….. If technically not correct, testing of the equipment will be inaccurate as everyone is to their own because it is not standardised. Put it in another way, if technically correct, then testing of equipment will be more standardised, right or not? No intention to teach or coach, just saying……….
@kimmy877 Yes, of course, if technically correct it will be more accurate in testing. I would agree that skill or technique level will definitely be the main foundation and equipment is to supplement the player. Here just to share my own experience of the blade and I'm sure there are many players who aren't technically correct as well who would benefit from my sharing as a non-professional player.
Never lay the whole blade with handle on a plane surface and the apply pressure. Always leave the handle hanging out and the blade surface totally flat. So you avoid damaging your bat.
I always order from TT11. However, I was about to order this blade and saw a message saying that they won't provide 'assembly service' for this blade. But seems like you got the rubbers assembled?
Hi, I didn't notice the message indicating no assembly service for this blade when I was placing my order. It seems like they helped me assemble it anyway. Kudos to TT11.
Can you do a review on yinhe v14 pro or yinhe t8s? I heard they are clones of timo boll alc. If you decide to review either of them, pls compare them to yinhe pro 01 as well.
Very nice blade! OX is hard to put on in general. I like the green rubber. Look at the bookshelf behind you, I guess you may have over twenty Butterfly blades. Nice as a collector. I just ordered a blade from tabletennis11. My box was damaged as well even packed inside of the box.
for me,,, this kind of blade,,, (ayous & limba outer with ALC/KLC/AL in the inner position) is kind of tricky to use... I personally use DHS PG5x which has the same composition like this one.... when the opponent changes the pace of the game from counter-attack (active spin ball) to dead ball block, it's hard for me to accurately attack or just to simply return the ball (pushing a little bit too hard, the ball goes out, pushing a little bit too slow, the ball wouldn't come over the net).... actually,, when I use all wood blade to overcome this situation, this kind of pace changing is my favorite ball to get a point,,, this isn't a problem at all when I used blades like stiga clipper or DHS PG7.... to use this type of inner carbon blade you must have a really good footwork, otherwise you wouldn't optimize your shots when doing rally with the opponent....
Hi winson, I’m trying to decide on a new innerforce blade style setup with H3 Neo provincial blue sponge on FH and Dignics 09C on Bh. I’m trying to decide between Commercial Long 5, Commercial Long 5x, the TMXi, or the TMXi Pro, as I can get them all around the same price. Which one should I get? I am mainly a looper on both wings with more preference on the FH.
Hi, What do you think about this ? Would a Glayzer 09C 2.1 be close in terms of speed to a Dignics 09C 1.9 ? I have a Dignics now but I find it really to expensive so I am looking for an alternative, cheaper but with good quality too.
Hi. Good question. Glazyer 09C 2.1mm is a close substitute. But it is not as fast as Dignics 09C. But the feel you get when hitting is rather similar, just not the same quality as Dignics.
Hi. I think perhaps at my skills level, I can't really feel much difference compared to Neo national. Hence, I feel it is not worth it to use as a permanent option.
Is the layer of glue before boosting really necessary? I’ve heard that the rubber will absorb the booster better without putting that extra layer of glue in the beginning Also when reboosting my H3 Blue sponge 40, should I have one or two layer (First time reboosting, first put on 2 layers of Haifu sea moon regular)
Hi. Thanks for the question. Which rubber is suitable for backhand really depends on your current skill level. For a good and cheap rubber I would recommend Yasaka Rakza 7. And if you want something tacky instead, you can try Hurricane 8-80.
Hi. I won't recommend this for beginner as it' has carbon layers which might be too fast for beginners. You may want to consider 5 ply wood blade instead. For example, like Stiga Clipper which is very popular for wood blade.
Do you think this blade could work well with dhs rubber ? I was thinking about a h3 neo prov 40 blue sponge on the forehand and h3 neo prov 37 orange sponge on the backhand. Or stiga DNA hybrid on both side ? Thanks in advance !
Hi, i guess you try the 2 blade im currently hesitating cause u made a video of both so i hope you could enlighten me ( i want to go for huricanne 3 neo blue sponge 40 provincial on forehand and hurricane 3 orange sponge 37 provicial on backhand if these info have utility for your answer) but for the blade i cant decide between cybershape and hurricane blade for a full DHS set up, im guessing dhs blade are good with H3 but his cybershape a good blade for that kind of rubber ? Does the cybershape impact service game due to the shape ? Being one of my strenght i dont want to weak it with the blade. I'm not pro so i was more hesitating on the wood version and 301Z for more control to start, maybe uprgrade for the carbon/hl5 as i progress in a couple of year :) Have u an advice ? Cant make it up by myself i read so much about these and no one have the same answer ! Thanks for youtube algorithm to make me discover you ! Best Regards,
Thanks for your question. Personally, I would recommend you to try Long 5 instead of cybershape. Cybershape can be quite difficult to control if you are moving from wood blade to carbon. Long 5 is also one of the best if you plan to use hurricane rubbers.
was hesitating between long 5 and h301 but i dont want to have ma long face on the racket it self, does long5 exist without ma long head on the blade ?
