It’s already so fast, as soon as I got the achievement I started making alts. I manage a level every 5 minutes sometimes 3 levels in a single dungeon or Raid.
I never did jewel crafting at all but I need those haste and gems so that's what I want to concentrate on..cause I'm going to be a destro warlock a a frost mage.and since rings and necks never ever drop I need to make those.
So glad I'm not purchasing the expansion this go around. I loathe what they did to professions in Dragonflight, gotta love being time gated out of things, and being forced to pay exorbitant fees to get items in the form of mandatory "tips" from crafters. No thanks.
Absolutely valid. Very early in Dragonflight I had someone trying to strongarm me into price fixing, but I got lucky and could get away with telling them to pound sand. On larger servers there were cartels mass-reporting crafters that didn't play by the rules. At least there's less time gating now with knowledge catch-up, but if you do come back I'd definitely look at playing at a slightly less high pop server if people were demanding tips :/ Hope you enjoy what you're playing instead, though!
Man I didn't play around with professions enough in Dragonflight, I'm still so lost about all those stats and how they interact with quality and such xD
It really is just a lot to dive into! I'm glad they're moving forward with NPC orders for that reason, it gives a low stress environment to figure things out with trial and error.
so it will be worth to have a lot of alchemy alts to get the best of those CD, do you know other professions with some CD to get the best alt army potential? maybe it will be a equivalent for Chronocloth and Azurecloth cd's on TWW making Alchemy + taioring a thing Also if it is not much to ask: how does the new tailoring bags work? you can make as much as you want or those work in a CD as well?
It probably will early on until more people have time to swing their alt armies at it. Tailoring will definitely be worth it in the same period of time, especially if you can get the knowledge to make r3 bolts early on. The skill component is the big deciding factor, and there's a pretty hefty Acuity(new Mettle) investment to get that skill early on. Bags don't seem to have a CD, their mats also look relatively low investment, but the recipes themselves will be expensive to collect time-wise.
Enchanting was ROUGH for Dragonflight, I couldn't get mine capped till crafted crests got added. Just not enough recipes to level with, but it sounds like it'll be easier for War Within!
110%, especially with double overload charges. Really hoping they just disable proffs completely for early access so I can focus on leveling, that's not even worrying about the AH issues
@@LycrusWoW i was thinking about gathering during level in every character just to get artesain mattle cause i dont think we will have enough early on to craft profession gear, all 6 slots of gear = 1800 mattle
It seems like it'll be worthwhile to do a full rotation for first time crafts even if you can't abuse Consortium rep, but apparently there's a weekly cap on knowledge similar to Crests? I'll have to see how that plays out with the world treasures + the bonus knowledge tokens that gathering gets after it's weekly purple token.
Make a character on "These Go To Eleven", it'll automatically be level 80. Professor Instructaur sells material bags per profession as well as books that give 1000 knowledge points.
