Please make a playlist for them and consider redoing some of the older ones as your production has improved drastically. This machine is a beast
I did it exactly like you said,but can’t get any sound,but my Mpc synced when hitting play 😢😢only way I can hear t is if I plugged my headphones into Mpc not the neo?
Hey Son of Prince is there anyway to make the pads sound different then the other when I record my song I cant change the patch to out of auto tune when i do vocals it stays in the same voice thanks in advance if you get a chance to see this!

Love what you are doing Mahn with VERSELAB. Just purchase my mv1 last week. Have a question regarding the MV1. I’m having issues with my CTRL 1 parameter knob and wanted to know if there’s a master setting to completely disable that 1 knob. CTRL knob 1 seems to have a glitchy feel and my numbers are jumping. Don’t seem to understand why. If possible I can send a video to your email if that helps Cheers to you my brother and keep grinding 🥂
Amazing work, question…using pad 1 sequencing a kick drum, I can’t seem to hear the kick in sequence play mode but I can hear the kick drum when I hit the pad…is there a solution to this problem ? Thx
Thanks for this. The mixer alone wasn't enough. Plus, the drums alone were already too easy to peak on my audio recorder. Only for the bass and tone tracks to be too quiet, and volume was almost useless at that point, lol. Thanks again
One more point sorry! I wanted to say that it’s something I get, I think most of the trans folks get - like it can be hard for people to make sense of. Like, hey, please recognize that” I am this thing that you otherwise wouldn’t maybe read me as being,” like I understand how that’s going to (in some contexts) be confusing and make whoever is being told this feel like they’re being …not accused but of plausibly being offensive? Like it can come off sort of sounding like “you will likely be offensive so I’m telling you now, don’t call me xyz, I am not that.” Like in not recognizing something that is not obvious to you, that’s you being uncaring or prejudiced. It’s so not, like but that’s kind of the tenor of a persons declaration of how they want to be addressed. I get it, and I have found that people are vastly almost 100% of people are cool, like they aren’t concerned about my gender and have no issue with me. Like it’s on the trans person to be open to the fact that others may be confused. I think it’s really just best to assume people be cool, because people are cool. The person you note maybe presumed to be attacked and took it out on peoples who weren’t attacking them, who had no issue but felt attacked for being presumed to have an issue. That’s a hot mess. Good faith isn’t a one way street. I think you handled it perfectly, and it’s a bummer but that person will probably work through their insecurities, trust is hard but at the end of the day, it’s all we have and people are generally good, people want to support each other.
Trans fan of yours here (I have an mv1) and I get it, it can be a lot, people can be annoying. I hope that you (and I’m sure you do) can give folks the benefit of the doubt, like trans folks aren’t a monolith, and I have misgendered or accidentally offended people (trans folks) in the past. There are definitely folks who will take their sense of identity or they will be overly sensitive to how they are perceived, like it’s for sure awkward and can be a lot to have to tip toe around. I tend to take the kind of folks who are in a victim kind of fighty mode as …like I tend to be quiet and hope they move on to someone else? It’s hard because you want to be respectful, and people aren’t like you said, they’re not getting enough of whatever they want from you. And it’s held over on you, like it’s a judgment sort of thing. Anyway, I just want to say that I appreciate how open you are and like your kids are lucky to have a very hip dad. Im sorry this person was picking a fight, that for sure can happen and it’s not fun. It even happens to me and I am trans. (Trans guy). You’re clearly a cool ally and also a person of color, which is another reason to believe you in the first place, like you understand the concept of being seen differently - it’s a bummer that this person didn’t get that and challenged you. I swear we’re not all like that! And I love your videos! Thanks for this! It’s so much better to just talk and be real than make it a topic that is too loaded to deal with. Like we’re all just people. There aren’t a lot of trans people, we aren’t recruiting. 🙂. Some of us suck. But many of us are awesome!
