Grey Man Operations is a Cape Town based RU-vid channel that focuses on gear, everyday carry and preparedness concepts.
Not everything is "tactical." We try to vary our videos to help bring you content that is both fun to watch and meaningful in the greater scheme of life.
We truly hope you enjoy this channel and remember everything on the channel is an opinion, nothing is a recommendation.
Howzit Ryan, I am fairly new to your channel and really enjoying the content so far. I was wondering if you can do a segment on your nighttime routine in the sense of where you store your firearm when you are sleeping, are there holsters available for bedside drawers etc? I have been bombarded with the same comment from people that state your firearm should be in the safe when you go to bed but if you have a home invasion there is no time to fiddle with safe keys to get to your firearm. Would love your input on this and thanks for the quality content.
Thank You Gents. I think having good Lads like you, clueing people up on particularly the safety elements of gun ownership is excellent. The environment you say your facilities have sounds like the channels I’d want to proceed with.
Awesome review and really great Trauma kit that I'm gonna get into my vehicle for emergencies. Never know when you might be able to help a civilian that needs it... Awesome Awesome content!
I just ordered Canik Rival and looking for the Red Dot. MO3 looks like a good idea and price is right, but it does have lots of negative reviews on Amazon - all reliability related....
Thank you so much for this content and sharing your experience. May I ask if you have ever considered sharing more on emergency tips for events where there is no law and order like the July 2021 unrest for example. May God bless your work and keep you safe.
Really enjoyed and needed this review... Looking at getting a Weapon mounted light ASAP, but then the thing is a Holster, I think the #SouthWestHolsters Cobra holster will work the best for what I am looking at. Thanks for the content!
Hi Ryan, I'm looking to get a budget friendly WML and came across this vid on the Opsmen Fast 401. Would you still recommend it as an EDC option and would it work with South West Holster's King Cobra on a Canik Mete SF?
Hey Yoh! I have been meaning to ask you if you have a words of wisdom for someone who is unemployed, hustling and with a budget of r5 000.00 or so ish for an EDC? I know this space is mainly Glock/Canik but let’s take it down a notch. Crime affects us all - just thought I’d get your feedback. Ta!
Yo, that's a bit tight man, if you can find a little more, I would recommend looking at the Canik Rugby. You will be getting something worth R14k for like R7k
Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
I love the video very helpful and informative keep up the great work! What brand is that holster? I’m planning on running the same set up but I am having troubles looking for a holster
Just came across your channel. I'm so excited to see a firearm review channel by cape townians. I've been carrying a beretta M9 since 2008. Sold it last month, getting myself the Ermox X-Fire next month. Fits my budget plus i can borrow few parts from Glock😅😅
I can imagine being in your house and shouting at an unknown number of home invaders to leave your property. Great! now they know your location and can surround you.
Found this channel a few weeks ago and couldnt help but watch the older videos. Great content and informative. Will be doing my competency next month and your videos are convincing my wife to do hers too😂
