i go down to the charter boats and ask questions and there pretty tight lipped and some of them just say well pay for a charter and ask all the questions you want i said im kinda on a budget trying to get gear and they said arent we all lol.
HI I Started fishing out of muskegon a few years ago in a small 18 ft boat watching your videos trying to learn as much as possable thank you so much for posting for us nobodys. Trying to learn and buy on a budget.

I just go out of Muskegon pier heads go north to about 180 ft start marking fish and set my rigger's and dipseys out and hit kings and cohos . Just get out there on good days.
What is the point of including the river name? Some of these rivers especially with natural reproduction doesn’t need extra angling pressure.. just a thought
I’m sure the Pere Marquette river will be safe even after this video is posted it’s no secret there are trout in the river and all were released to fight another day.
We ran a charter out of Onekama for years and we trolled plugs like that off boards in the spring time. Purple and chrome works excellent as well. I paint all my own baits so I have the entire rainbow spectrum at my disposal
I assumed you were in the southern basin of Lake Michigan during this trip. Been a long time since I fished the west coast and been trying to remember that lighthouse
went outta Muskegon yesterday, dropped in at 75, went out to 175, not a single fish on the sonar nor a bite. Not a creature was stirring not even a mouse.....lol
Great boat, great captain and crew! These guys worked hard getting us on fish on a tough day when the fish weren’t feeding well. Every fish had an empty stomach when we cleaned them. Even though they weren’t actively feeding these guys made the presentation they couldn’t resist. The kids had an absolute blast! The video adds tremendous value to the charter! I’m sure we’ll enjoy it for years! Thanks guys!
So far it’s been unpredictable 40-100ft down10 ft to 80. Haven’t been able to pattern them and catching them on unusual lures many I’ve never pulled out of my tackle box. Usually it’s blue everything else his time of year but yellow/orange/green/blue. Dots no dots… haven’t had a flasher bit really at all yet. Been throwing everything I got at them and then some
