I purchased the wash and go bundle. Love the shampoo and deep conditioner. I have fine low density, low porosiry, 3c/4a hair and the gel didnt do it for me...I paired the Potion with the Tropical Oasis Gel and Chef's kiss😘 I will probably revisit the gel from her line with the Miche set mousse on top. I do like her line overall...
Someone else said this about pairing it with the Tropical Oasis gel lol. I agree about the MoKnowsHair gel tho. I do like her line and I think it’s good for healthy hair. I just like stronger hold from my gel and hers is medium.

I used the gel and styling potion but like you, I had more frizz than I normally get. I used the scalp product, the shampoo, the deep conditioner (which is my favorite) it is the absolute best deep conditioner I have ever used and I love my Miche Beauty deep conditioners. I then used the spray leave in/primer and added the 2 products you used (only on one section of my hair though). I realized it wasn’t going to work out for me so I did the rest of my hair with my Miche Beauty products. Tropical Oasis Gel and the Set mousse. I saw on Instagram where someone asked Mo if the pudding could be used for a wash and go and she said yes. The next week I washed with her products just like before but this time I used first the spray leave in/primer then the pudding put a plastic cap on, got out of the shower then added my Tropical Oasis gel. I absolutely loved the combo. My curls were moisturized, coily, bouncy and shiny and today, Wednesday, I stretched it out and the curls are amazing. I usually don’t stretch my hair right away because I want my wash and go to last. I believe the elasticity treatment/deep conditioner is definitely doing its job. My curls are super coily like they were when I first big chopped. The fragrance on the products are quite pleasant. I really like them. I purchased the older products before but had to take it back to Sally’s because the scent was too strong for me. My mom used the gel and potion and it worked out perfectly for her. My hair is thicker than hers but I’m glad she was able to use them. I think I purchased everything except the cowash. I shampoo every week. All in all I enjoyed the products. I will try a twistout with pudding at a later date. The pudding is very moisturizing and a little goes a long way. It should last a very long time.
The deep conditioner is also my favorite. And I liked the scent of the original products as well but I agree the new scent is more subtle. I learned afterwards that the curl primer + gel is supposed to give a better hold than the potion + gel. And I just bought the tropical oasis gel and I’m so ready to use it on my next wash day since I’ve only heard good things. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the review! I"ve been waiting to see more people try out these products! I bought the same bundle and got very similar results as your wash and go. Because I am a fan of MoKnows Hair and the wealth of knowledge she has, I went ahead and bought the Curl Primer. On the back of the gel bottle (I think) it says using the curl primer before the potion and gel gives you a stronger hold - and that's what I need! This is my second week trying the wash and go with these products - hopefully the primer gets here before the next wash and it makes a difference in results, before I give up and start mixing gels (lol). I absolutely love the deep conditioner though - I'll definitely be buying that again!

And I’m the same, I really need strong hold to get me thru the week cuz this w+g only lasted me 3 days. But that deep conditioner! 🤌🏽 She really did her thing with that one.
I always use a gel for my wash n go’s so I don’t really have any issues with humidity or rain. And I use gels with good hold. I mean.. I think that’s the trick lol. If I do a twist out or have straight-ish hair, it’s over 😭
I think your hair came out really pretty. Practice makes perfect. I also like the styles you incorporated like the half up, half down and the ponytail. I've myself been watching yt videos on mini twists for months now but haven't built up the confidence/courage.
I always loved the custard and I create hold apart. Until I decided to combine them. Super combination!! It gave me 7 days! Doesn’t break my bank this way. No flaking and a great cast.
You probably figured out by now, that shampoo is the same way-a lil but goes a long way especially if you use the scalp scrub Ny goodness. It’s heaven. I love smelling it
I think you should have went with 4 instead of 2. Your hair is thick so when you do only two sections the root isn’t getting much stretch because the section is too big. BEAUTIFUL hair though and you can definitely still see a difference 😁

Tracey Ellis Ross' strong hold gel was marketed for slick backs and updos only too, but that didn't stop folks from using it for wngs lol. So I don't see why this product will be (or should be) any different. I agree with you on products that claim to fix split ends...immediate side eye from me!

Very aesthetic packaging👌🏽. However, I have not tried and don't plan on it. Found products that work for me and sticking to it (recovered hair product junky of 10yrs😔). Too many hair products targeted for us that it has gotten so overwhelming. I'm good lol..Love your content and thank you for keeping us posted with all the goodies🤗. Thank you for demonstrating this! I was just looking on Amazon a few days ago and trying to decide whether to buy this! Don't think I will now, lol. The best way I've found to prevent shrinkage is to blow dry roots for about 60 seconds in 4 sections or so while I hold the curl pattern straight, and that adds length. Unlike you, I prefer length to body. I like my hair to be flat on my head even when it's curly, lol. But thanks again for showing this, I subscribed! ❤👍
