We have considered doing that kind of thing however youtube would automatically compress even an uncompressed audio file and without watching the video with the Lowthers connected to a phone or RU-vid powered tv you wouldn’t hear them as they sound anyway. The best way to hear them is certainly in person. This is something we are working on. 😁
I've been dreaming of the day I have a space deep enough to accommodate a four foot deep horn for ages. This is essentially what I've longed to build since I got stuck in to hi fi in like 2000.
@@weatheranddarkness we feel your pain. We also don’t really have a space big enough. They will always be a by commission build, but a very special part of the Lowther Official line up.

The Stereo pair have been produced exclusively for a customer. However a mono is available for audition in the Lowther Listening room - above this very pub! ;-)
That's like saying 'anyone with mechanics skills, can repair a car' Not only do we already know, but most if us don't have that skill. That's, why we buy stuff that other people have made.
@@bigblueocean well, that, and the space to build a 4 foot by four foot by four foot tetrahedral structure. I've got occasional access to a table saw and stuff, but this is a real stretch to contemplate.

the sound is exaggeratedly clear and detailed - this doesn’t happen in life... not every type of music is suitable... it’s impossible to make the pulleys yourself, and your factory ones are too expensive.
I bought my Lowther Acoustas 50 years ago. Original cabinets but new drivers. Still listening to them and whats more important is hearing I think true music through them.
I wish the prices would be available on the website. The Acousta 117 looks stunning, but needs a black base for even better looks. From all the videos available, I can‘t tell if they are great with Rock, Metal or Electronic music too. Classic music and Jazz sounds mindlowingly good. 205F could benefit from the same veneer design as the Acousta, again, with black base.
